Good placements and awesome campus life.
Placements: The placements were quite average for my course as they were less core companies that approached for placements in my branch. Despite that, there were about 50% placements. But I would suggest you to choose software related branches which has maximum number of companies approaching and hence your chances are higher. The highest package was 10 Lacs approximately and the lowest was 5.5 Lacs. The average package is 7-8 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are Volvo, Bosch and continental. About 35% of them got internships in Volvo, Continental. Top role offered was of development engineers.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good here compared to any other college in Mysuru. Infrastructure is good too. The quality of hostel was just average like anywhere else. But strict rules and regulations were followed here which is good. Medical facilities are pretty good. Sports and games courts were just awesome with really good atmosphere.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful. The quality of teaching is good too and the lectures were really insightful to all of us. Teachers are approachable. Curriculum is designed with enough relevance. It doesn't really make us industry ready because nothing much practical is practiced here. The semester exams could be cleared easily as it's autonomous and pass percentage would be 95%.
Other: Campus life is something you cannot miss. The college festival is beyond anything else. Also, the college is worth it, as it has very good placements.

Review of JSS Science and Technology University.
Placements: JSS is the best colleges in terms of placements, infrastructure and faculty. It is being proved by the highest percentage of placement record as well. Students from not only the engineering department get a good inflow of companies, but even students from masters courses also get full-time opportunities as well as internships.
Infrastructure: As I already mentioned, the college provides the best infrastructure. Even though the college is around 50 years old, but the infrastructure is good. The college provides all the facilities that modern engineering colleges should have. There are well-equipped laboratories in each department with trained faculty members and also with Wi-Fi facility.
Faculty: It is a semester wise curriculum with well-designed periodic internals and externals. Most of the faculty members are PhD holders from renowned IITs across the country. As it is an autonomous college, all the course curriculum are designed well by experts of our college.
Other: The student committee organises the cultural fest named Jayciana. There is a huge crowd, especially students from across the city and most famous actors, DJ's, etc., are invited to perform.

I am proud to be a part of JSS Institute which is the best place to get the knowledge.
Placements: Placements in JSS are good. Lots of companies visit the campus to hire many students. Lots of students get placed in the campus it elf. Mass recruiters like Accenture hire a lot of students. Pradeep is the placement secretary of JSS Institute of Technology. Students get necessary training before attending an interview.
Infrastructure: JSS has provided a good infrastructure for the students. The campus is spread over a huge area, and the college has the best infrastructure. Infrastructural facilities like parking, good roads, canteen, and classrooms, etc., are available here. The college has an academic building with lift facilities, free water facility and free Wi-Fi facility.
Faculty: All faculty members are friendly and helpful. All the faculty members have good knowledge, and they are technically sound. All of them are qualified with at least a masters degree. Some faculty members are also qualified with PhDs. They put all their efforts into students' growth. They make sure to learn the abilities of all students.
Other: JSS organises events like Jaciana which will be carried out by a huge crowd. All the students get a chance to participate in the field of their interest like cricket, football, or any quiz etc. Apart from that, each branch conducts its own fest in which they invite the students of other colleges to participate.

Yes, But consider this also-
local placement is decent, teaching is decent, overall exposure/brand is Not as Esteem-able as BMSCE/MSRIT/Amrita.
For vibrant city life, internships, coding culture, and good placements, MSRIT or BMSCE Bangalore CSE is an excellent choice.

When compared with the closing ranks of the previous years, the cutoff ranks of KCET seem to be lower than previous year. However, the data on cutoff ranks for BE courses at JSS Science and Technology University is incomplete which makes it difficult to give a proper analysis of cutoff trends for BE
