At the doctoral level, KR Mangalam University offers a PhD programme in Engineering, Management, Commerce, Basic Sciences, Journalism and Mass Communication, Education, Law, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Humanities. The university offers this programme under three categories: full-time, part-time, and sponsored. The minimum time for completion of the course is three years from the date of admission, and the maximum time is six years. K R Mangalam University offers a University Research Fellowship to full-time PhD research scholars. The selected candidates will be offered the fellowship for one year, but will be extended yearly for another two years (cumulative maximum period of three years) based on the six-monthly progress report and presentation.
