The total number of seats at Kakatiya University, Warangal, for MBA are 120. These seats are allotted to the students who have obtained the required cut-off marks in TS ICET exam. Based on these marks, a rank-based merit list is released, and admission notifications are sent to the eligible candidates. The state reservation policy of Telangana is also followed while the allotment of seats.

Kakatiya University accepts TS ICET scores for admitting students into its MBA programme. TS ICET is an online/computer-based test (CBT), consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions, to be solved in 150 minutes. Each question carries one mark. No marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. There are three sections of the exam, namely, Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability. Students can choose English and Urdu or English and Telugu as the medium, for sections other than Communication Ability, which need to be attempted in English only.

Kakatiya University offers MBA as a CBCS-based PG programme. The MBA curriculum of the university covers subjects such as Organisation Behaviour, Operations Management, International Business, Business Research, etc. In the final year, students can choose one of the following: Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management and Systems Management.

The cut-off required for admission to the MBA programme of Kakatiya University varies from year to year. It is released in the form of closing TS ICET rank at which MBA admission will be provided. Candidates who have a recognised bachelor’s degree with at least 50% total marks (45% for reserved categories), and who is 19 years old, on or before completing the application process, can appear for TS ICET entrance examination.
