Placements are not provided, but the teaching is good.
Placements: The college placement cell is not that active. Placements are not conducted for the M.A. English course. Other courses have a chance to get placement offers. In my college, not many companies come for placements. Many different types of seminars are conducted in our college, which help us build our personality.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is great. Libraries are in good condition and equipped with many types of books. There is a canteen where we can buy items at an affordable price. The canteen provides delicious and hygienic food. The hostel facility is good. In the hostel, we feel at home.
Faculty: All teachers are very experienced and deeply qualified. They help students with doubt solving and problem solving. They are very kind. The teaching quality of all teachers is top-notch. The course curriculum is relevant. Exams are tough. Sometimes questions come from outside the syllabus. Staff members are very friendly.

My honest review of this college.
Placements: There are a lot of top companies that provide job opportunities to the students. Most of us students got placed in those top companies. It's one of the best parts of the college because of the internship provided. The process of placement is at the time of the first year we have to pay for placement training fees. At the end of the 2nd semester, we can start placement training from college. Many professional trainers are coming to college for training and at the beginning of the 4th semester, our placement starts.
Infrastructure: Nehru Arts and Science College has a good infrastructure. It provides good Wi-Fi connection, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games facilities. These things are perfect, and the system of college is great. The quality of food provided is good We don't feel that we are away from home. The rooms are good with good beds and fans free Wi-Fi and non-stop electricity. Food is good and while preparing it is transparent and clean. We have tiffin items for breakfast with cereals and milk. Meals with vegetables for lunch and dry foods with fruits for dinner.
Faculty: Faculty members understand our needs, support us, and help us to grow in our field. They motivate us in our field which we want to get into it. They help us in grooming up in our field and have a better future. They conduct the test and groom us for our final examination, very friendly as well as strict in which they have to be. The exam structure is 2 internals per semester and 1 model exam and 1-semester exam which comes at the end of the semester.

A well-organized department compared to most of the other departments.
Placements: Placement chances are low for departments like history on government university campuses. However, there are still opportunities for internships through collaborations with other universities, which provide the chance to experience the practical aspects of history.
Infrastructure: Boy's hostel and campus are well maintained. The university hostel provides a bed, chair, separate fan for each student, one table, etc., at a rate of 400 rupees per month as hostel fees. The mess reun by students offer tasty meals at Rs.2,500 per month.
Faculty: Actually, in this generation, there are fewer people with an interest in archaeology and heritage. However, with the curriculum, gain wider opportunities to excel in various fields. After completing the courses, we are prepared to become historians through these experiences.
Other: We can see many opportunities in the arts field such as teaching, etc. Almost all colleges have positions in the arts field, which are beneficial for students after completion of the course.

Overall best College for M.A. In History Course.
Placements: Around 77% of students were placed in my course over the last three years. The highest salary package ever offered in this college is 30 LPA, the average salary package offered was 13 LPA. ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, and other firms visit my college for recruitment. During placements, students take on roles such as archivists and archaeologists, among others. About 70% of students received internships.
Infrastructure: The campus is student-friendly and well-facilitated. It features an excellent library with thousands of books. Lab facilities are good, and hostel accommodations are well-decorated. Good-quality food is available in the mess and canteen. Students who want to participate in sports can visit the physical education department. A nice playground is available.
Faculty: I didn't enjoy the instructors, as I often didn't understand what they were teaching, and the classes were monotonous. The curriculum is fine. Exams are held regularly, once a month during the semester, and creating record books takes time. Semester exams are difficult, and the pass rate is 30%.

The best college till now.
Placements: Placements start in the final year, mainly in the last semester. The average package is around 4 to 8 lacs per annum. There is a chance for every student to attend interviews, so the college gives opportunities to the students. It's the responsibility of the student to utilize the opportunity to create their career.
Infrastructure: Students are attracted by these facilities of the college. We have clean classrooms that are huge enough and are provided with other requirements. Labs have all the required equipment and tools. The library of our college is the second most appreciated library of Kannur University. We have almost 2–3 hostels nearby that are better than one another since they are provided with very good residing and medical facilities. The food provided is also good. We can engage in many sports and games as we wish. Overall, everything provided seems and feels safe and secure in this college.
Faculty: Exams are simple in this college. All the instructors are gifted. The notes given by instructors are straightforward but the best for the students. The exam halls are superior. During the COVID time, the instructors went fast, and the exams came quickly. The students did not understand sometimes.

This course is absolutely value for money.
Placements: The placement percentage of this college is quite good. About 65% of students have got placement from this course, both on-campus and off-campus. Many are doing government jobs in the economy department of the government. Many others are doing various jobs such as Market Research Analyst, Credit Analyst, Statistician, Financial Analyst, etc. The highest package is 9 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 4.5 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The college has really good infrastructure. The Economics department has free Wi-Fi, and the medical facility in the whole college is very good. The classrooms are very nice. The quality of food available in the college canteen is not so good and a bit expensive, but the quality of the food available in the hostel is very good.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good, they are all very helpful, and the teaching quality of the professors is very good. They teach us by analyzing a topic very nicely. They are all very knowledgeable. This course is absolutely curriculum relevant. Semester exams are a bit tough. The pass percentage is 40% in each subject.
