Offered by KL College of Engineering, KL University

Comprehensive academic experience with strong industry exposure at KL University.
Placements: For my batch at KL University, around 85-90% of students were placed. The highest package offered was around INR 25-30 LPA, while the lowest was approximately INR 3-4 LPA, with an average package of INR 6-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Infosys, Amazon, and Wipro.
Infrastructure: KL University offers well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a comprehensive library for academic support. The hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms and basic amenities. The food in the mess and canteen is average, catering to a variety of tastes, along with medical facilities and sports infrastructure.
Faculty: The teachers at KL University are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, offering support both in and outside the classroom. The teaching quality is good, with a focus on practical learning. The course curriculum is relevant and aligned with industry needs, making students industry-ready through updated content and hands-on projects.
Other: I chose my course in Computer Science at KL University due to its strong industry connections and updated curriculum. The best aspects of the course are the practical exposure and internship opportunities.

Excellent placements, really good infrastructure and facilities but average college life.
Placements: 100% of the students were placed from our college this year who were eligible for placements. The criteria for eligibility is that the student must score an average CGPA of 7.5 throughout the course and maintain attendance of 85%. The highest package of CSE this year was 60LPA and average package was 9LPA. Top recruiting companies were Atlassian, amazon, Google, Oracle, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is beautifully maintained with a green natural theme. Classrooms are always neat and clean. Wi-Fi connection are available throughout the colleges, with passwords provided to each student. We have a huge library which is loaded with relevant books. The library is well maintained but it doesn't have AC installed. We have multiple canteens and small food stalls available in each block. We have our own ambulance for any medical emergency and all other medical items are available on campus too. We have different types of grounds and courts for different sports like volleyball, basketball badminton, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, with almost all of them having Ph.D. degrees. They are all very helpful. They always encourage us to ask for doubts and promote speaking to them in the class. The exams conducted are of moderate level. But the teaching makes it easy and also the regular quizzes are a good practice for the semester exams.
Other: I, personally, have always had an interest in computer science, so that was the reason for choosing this course. One thing about this college that I don't like is the college life. Here, no doubt, study is excellent but college life could have been better. We did not have our freshmen party; we have very few festivals too. Other than that, holidays are also less, which doesn't matter that much.

This university is similar to Narayana and Sri Chaitanya in terms of study.
Placements: As per my previous year, a total of 70% to 90% of the batch members have gotten placements. The lowest package I have seen is 3 LPA, whereas the average package can be around 5 LPA to 8 LPA, and the highest is 60 LPA. The majority of tier-1, 2, and 3 companies come to the campus.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided on the campus are top-notch. We have dedicated computer labs and seminar halls for every block, along with 24/7 Wi-Fi, water, and medical facilities. The hostels are well maintained, but the fees are high. There are dedicated indoor and outdoor playgrounds as well.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members have completed their Master's degrees, and a few have PhDs as well. However, there are a few faculty members who don't know much about the subjects they are teaching, which happens because the subject allotment to the faculty is not good.
Other: The university actively conducts fests and other cultural activities.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028

College is absolutely good and has many opportunities if you work hard with participation.
Placements: I am in B.Tech-Mechanical; my class strength is around 40 to 60 students. Placements are good in the college, including foreign countries. This year, one student was placed in a Japanese company in Japan with a 25-lac package. Many companies like Wipro, Amazon, and Tech Mahindra come here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. It has different buildings for different branch. College covers around 100 acres of land. College is all Wi-Fi-enabled, and almost all classes have projectors or even big touch screens TV-like system where teachers could connect and teach.
Faculty: College timings and exam period are a little hectic as it has continued 3 classes of 2 hours with only one 20-minute break where it just finishes soon by just going from one class to another or someday one block to another. Teachers are Masters and Ph.D. holders from well-known colleges like NIT, IIM, or some from IIT too.

Review of KL College of Engineering.
Placements: 70–60% of students are placed in my course. The highest package may be around 50 Lacs or above, and the lowest will be 4-5 Lacs. IBM, TCS, Google, etc. are the top companies that recruit students at KL University that have not yet started. Product-based roles are mostly offered for people who are good at coding.
Infrastructure: Some of the faculty are good and teach very good facilities. The facilities they provide are top-notch. We can or will get Wi-Fi all over the university. The hostel food may not be that good, but rooms are neat and clean. We can play different sports. We have good coaches for every sport.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were very helpful, and they are qualified. Some of our teachers are certified professors from the government, so we have no doubt, but some of the faculty may not teach that well. Yes, the course curriculum is very relevant, and it gets upgraded every year based on the latest needs for software. The semester exam is sometimes difficult and sometimes easy; we can say it's moderate.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in becoming a software engineer and good coder. The best thing about this course is that it's mostly based on logic and sharpens our thinking. Events and fests in our college are done very well; they provide opportunities for everyone who is interested and make events go smoothly.
