VIT-AP University Course Admissions 2025: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

To be eligible for admission to Vellore Institute of Technology-AP (VIT-AP), candidates must have scored at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent. The fee for a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree at Vellore Institute of Technology-AP (VIT-AP) is INR 198,000 per year after the concession. VIT Amaravati does offer BTech in Computer Science Engineering. The BTech course is further available in sub-specialisations such as CSE (Data Analytics), CSE (Robotics), CSE (Artificial Intelligence), and CSE (Networking and Security). To secure BTech admission candidates should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for reserved categories) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board. For BTech admission candidates must also have VITEEE score.

Yes, VIT Andhra Pradesh University does offer BSc as an dual degree programme with MSc. The dual degree programme lasts for five years and is offered in a full-time mode. The UG+PG level course is spreas across ten semesters that combines core subjects with a major. The BSc-MSc dual degree comes with an exit option which allows students to earn different degrees provided they fulfill the credit requirements. After three years of successful completion of this programme, BSc in degree in Data Science will be awarded and MSc degree in Data Science will be awarded after successful completion of another 2 years.

 VIT-AP fees for the two-year MSc course range from INR 1.2 Lacs to INR 1.6 lakh. The course fee can be paid in two installments. Further, candidates must also pay an amount of INR 3,000 as a caution deposit fee, which is refundable. Candidates willing to apply for the hostel seat at the university must pay an amount of INR 2.47 lakh. No entrance exam is required for the MSc course at VIT-AP University. Candidates are shortlisted based on the SOP and the online personla interview conducted by the university. Furher, candidates must have BSc degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Applied Science from any recognised university with Physics, Mathematics, Botany, or Zoology as ancillary subjects with 60% aggregate.
