Kumaun University BCom Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Admission, Placements, Application

Kumaun University BCom course admission is merit-based, the university evaluates candidates' application based on their Class 12 or equivalent scores. The university offers BCom courses through faculty of Commerce. The application for BCom courses can be filled out online. Step 1: Kumaun University BCom Application Process 2025

Candidates who are willing to get admission into the BCom course at Kumaun University affiliated college can apply for the course through the official website of the university or through the Uttarakhand State Higher Education Admission Portal (UK HEAP PORTAL).

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of the Kumaun University (https://www.kunainital.ac.in/)

Step 1.2: Under the ‘Online Admission Form’ tab, click on ‘Undergraduate Course’’. Further, select your desired colleges and courses.

Step 1.3: Click on 'Apply Online' and deposit the Kumaun University BCom application fee i.e., INR 200.

Step 1.4: Candidates will be redirected to a new web page where they can pay either online or can generate challan.

Step 1.5: Enter the details asked by the bank during the payment which will be transferred to the university's record in the next 7 working days. Candidates will receive a 10-digit character transaction number from the bank.

Step 1.6: Fill in the form carefully and upload the scanned photograph as well as the applicant's signature in JPEG format.

Step 1.7: After the completion of the form, thesystem will generate a registration number and password which will be sent to the candidate through e-mail and SMS.

Step 2: Release of Merit List/ Seat Allotment List

The university releases the merit of shortlisted candidates according to the scores they have achieved in higher senior secondary or equivalent. This seat allocation is based on candidates' Class 12 results, category, and preferences filled out during their application. To check the merit list, candidates can log in to their student portal, and If they get selected, they can find the name of the college and course allotted to them.

Step 3: Document Verification & Admission Confirmation

After the seat allotment, if candidates get a seat on the university campus, they are required to visit the university for document verification. Moreover, if their preference is any of the affiliated colleges, and they get shortlisted, they are required to visit the allotted college’s website or go to the college physically (if required) for document verification and fee payment. For seat confirmation candidates are required to pay a certain amount of Kumaun University BCom fee, the tuition fee of the course ranges from INR 2,200 to INR 1.9 lakh.
