Dissatisfied with campus conditions.
Placements: I am not sure about the percentage but there are 1200 seats in B.Com. The highest and the lowest packages go about 3 LPA-12 LPA, and the average goes around 2 LPA-5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Talent Port, Sky Wings, and TCS. Approximately 40-80 percent of students got internships in companies like TCS, Sky Wings, etc. Top roles in my course were accountant, clerk, cashier, and various bank-related services.
Infrastructure: I don't think so any facility is being provided in this college, but there is a library from where you can borrow books easily. There is no Wi-Fi and the classroom conditions are poor. There are no hostel facilities available near the college, so I can't answer this question.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified but not so helpful. Teaching quality is good for sure. The course curriculum is not relevant. Students can't make themselves industry-ready. Semester exams are easy just you have to focus on the knowledge. The pass percentage is 60 percent atleast overall.
Other: The purpose behind choosing B.Com as a course is that at that time I was preparing for my banking exams too and the subjects in B.Com are similar to the banking subjects I am eligible for with many professional courses too, like CA, etc. This course must have some subjects that help in the personality development of a person so that in the future when they works as a professional, they should know how to present themselves completely and accurately as needed. Events are fewer in this college and there are no extracurricular activities.

This is the review of my Bachelors degree.
Placements: There were few students in my course/department who got placed. The highest package offered in my course was 5 or 6 LPA. The lowest package offered in my course was 2 LPA. Average package offered in my course was around 3 LPA. Very few students got internship in my course.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were very poor in my course/department. Ex – Wi-Fi was not available for students in my course/department. Labs were not good at all. Classroom was not up to the mark. All books were not available in the library. Canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games were not good at all.
Faculty: Teachers were not helpful at all. They were not qualified and knowledgeable at all. Course curriculum was not relevant to today's world. Course curriculum did not make students industry ready. Semester exams were quite difficult. Pass percentage of students is about 80 percent.

Placements: Every year, 50-60% of students get placements. It is clean and filled with nature. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys provide placements to students of HNBGU.

Overall it's a great college.
Placements: Many students got internships at Bajaj General Insurance Co. Ltd. The college offers numerous courses. Placements are also nice in this college. The facilities provided by the college are also great, as well as the environment of the college is great.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with classrooms and other facilities being satisfactory. The sports facilities are also impressive, and the library is nice. The quality of food is good, and overall, everything about this college is positive.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Semester exams are not overly difficult. This course prepares students for the industry. Teachers are supportive, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. They are always available to assist students.

About the facilities, faculty members, and overall positive environment of the college.
Placements: There hasn't been a significant amount of placement in my course. But there are internship opportunities. But now that the college is autonomous, things are changing for the better. Internship opportunities come every year. This year, till now for commerce we already have two internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are good. The place is so clean. The washrooms are so neat and clean. We have a library, cafeteria, a sports room, girls' common room, language lab, and even music, dance, arts, and crafts are also available for interested students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable, encouraging, and supportive. Even our chairman is such a supportive person. He interacts with the students 1 on 1 and offers help wherever he can. Teachers in my department are so kind, they treat us as their own. Our HOD is so kindhearted. She has helped me and any student who needs it. The teachers go out of their way if they have to.
Other: Our college provides so many opportunities as they host multiple events and they offer cash prizes as well. The overall environment of the college is very positive. They do respect the opinions of the students. Their policy is for the students, by the students, to the students.

HNB Garhwal University is an excellent choice for a budget-friendly BTech in ECE offering solid academics & experienced faculty. As a central university it lacks dedicated on-campus corporate placements for core electronics. It is highly recommended if you are focused on higher studies like the GATE

HNB Garhwal University is a decent, government-run Central University in Uttarakhand.
Pros: It holds prestigious NAAC 'A' grade. Fees are highly affordable making it great for budget-conscious students. The campus environment is beautiful & the professors are well-qualified & helpful.

HNBGU generally does not offer direct admissions for its programmes including MA Psychology. Students have to clear the admission process to get a seat. The university considers CUET PG scores. However, students can connect with the university to know more.
