Review of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth.
Placements: Almost 80% of students are getting placement in my college. The average package offered last year was 5 LPA and the highest package was 32 LPA. Many companies come here to hire students. My placement cell provides internships and extensive training to students like interview preparation, mock interviews, and seminars.
Infrastructure: The hostel and infrastructure of my college are amazing. The college has the best infrastructure as a Wi-Fi facility, labs, library, and smart classrooms. My course is mechanical engineering. Our teachers are very supportive and helpful. The hostel has the best food and security facilities. They provide 3 time meals.
Faculty: Our teachers very helpful. They always help students and guide them. They provide practical academic projects to the students every semester. Exams and course curriculum are good as tests are conducted weekly. They conduct practical classes every 3 days in a week.

It was an average college for engineering. Our college had the good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 60% of the students got placed in good companies. The average salary package offered for freshers was 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college were Mahindra, TATA, JCB, Toyota and Maruti Suzuki. Almost all the students were offered with internships by the companies that were mentioned above. Top roles offered were mechanical department, engine work, design and maintenance, etc.
Infrastructure: The entire college and hostel were Wi-Fi enabled. There was a huge playground for playing, and there was also a swimming pool in the hostel. Many libraries were available, and all facilities like air-conditioner, camera and fan were available. There were labs and projectors in labs and the library. There were smart classrooms in our college.
Faculty: Almost all teachers were good. They helped us in every situation, and they encouraged us to progress and helped us in many projects. I had done many projects at our college. They supported us very much in doing our projects, and they made students industry-ready by doing projects.
Other: I have chosen this course because I was interested in mechanical work. I want to work in big companies.

Facilities and infrastructure of the college are good.
Placements: Samsung and HP are the top companies, and 60 to 70% of the students got an internship. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. In our course, more than 80% of the students are placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the hostel are Wi-Fi, but the quality of the food is average. Sports are conducted on sports day. Medical facilities are good, and they use to treat every student on the campus. The library is good and has computers to use the internet, and there are many storybooks to read. I use to read books mostly, and I like the library most.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant and makes every student ready for industries. There are good teachers in the college, and they use to teach very well. In the campus, they use to take students for industry tours to gain knowledge of the industry how they do the work in the industries.
Other: I have chosen a mechanical course. The best thing in our course is visualised teaching.

This college provides good faculty members and placements.
Placements: Minimum 75% of the academics is must for placements. The college provides companies for placements. Every year, companies visit the college and select good students. Infosys and L& T come to our college last year to select mechanical students. It is a good college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The hostel is very good. There are two categories of rooms like air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned available in the hostel
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very good. They are qualified with PhDs. Teachers give a good response to our college. If you have any problem, you can ask any teacher, and they are ready to help. The course curriculum is very good, and the students are also good.
Other: I chose B.Tech mechanical engineering because my dream is to become an engineer, and I like cars. I am interested in a car headlight, so I decided to join B.Tech mechanical.

Good faculty and infrastructure. Learn what you know to make you happy.
Placements: It is a nice college. We have various placements here. This is a big college, and all the facilities are available here with good staff. They treat the students with good nature.
Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-Fi facility. There are highly-equipped labs. The faculty are available to explain the projects. The college has good classrooms. The library has thousands of books. There are special medical facilities in this college. The college has 15 acres of ground for playing games.
Faculty: The faculty members have nice teaching skills and are helpful to every student. I love my college and my college staff, where they always work for students to have a bright future. It's best to join our college which provides freedom where you can enjoy when compared to other colleges. The college has all kinds of labs with good equipment. It conducts best industrial tours, twice a year so that we can easily understand the subject.
Other: The college has events, fests and campus interviews.

Problems at Lingayas University FDB.
Placements: University has been changed a lot with no proper placements. Placements here are based on the percent scored. All the students here can take part in it. The average salary package offered here may be around Rs. 2 lakhs per annum. Many private companies have also visited the campus. Also, the internship here should be done only in the NCR region.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are good here. Also, the library here is good enough, but the medical facilities here are not good. Sports and games are very rare, and the quality of labs are also bad because there is nothing that is useful to us and many of the things don't work at all. Lingayas has both the south and north canteen, but the quality of food here is too bad.
Faculty: The faculty here is good enough for everyone. The quality of their teaching is also speechless. Here, teaching methods are still not developed. We may have a small industrial tour. Faculty helps us in everything as they are good for us. According to me, the best thing happened here is its faculty.
Other: Waste.

Good infrastructure and good environment.
Placements: I got placed in Optra Automation before completing my B.Tech in mechanical engineering. The placement and training cell is helping students for their training in industries to gain practical knowledge, and the college projects are very genuine, and guidance of faculty is too good.
Infrastructure: In mechanical engineering, the lab equipment is very good. There is no Wi-Fi facility in the college. There is a good library. There are good medical facilities. The classrooms are wide and clean. Sports and games conducted by the college are good. The quality of labs is 4/5.
Faculty: In the mechanical department, all the faculty are good and experienced. The faculty are helpful to our future growth and gain knowledge. The teaching quality is 3.5/5. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1. There is a standard exam paper pattern. The pattern has been changed as sem to sem or year to year.

Not mandatory to choose and not great as it sounds.
Placements: The placement for mechanical should not be expected in Lingayas University as we are provided not having a dignified value. The placements should be offered from well know recognised companies, not from workshops where the daily labour workers get a job. The college should focus on this.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure for the mechanical department with well-equipped labs and workshops, even for the automobile. The classrooms are spacious but mechanical classes will be held on the 5th floor where we don't have any lift. So for every lab on the other floor and any subject from another block, it is very hard to climb 5 floors at least thrice a day.
Faculty: The faculty is good, but the curriculum is not good. The change in question paper model every semester is not necessary and should be made at least some few percent in favour of students. The faculty are helpful, but at least there should be 4-5 PhD faculty in the department.
