Q:   Is MKUDDE, Madurai a good university?
A: 

MADURAI KAMARAJ institution is a well-known institution founded by the Tamil Nadu government in 1965. The admission process at MKU-DDE is fairly basic. Simply go to the website, download the admission form, and then submit it online or offline. Admission is usually granted in the month of April. If you want to study from home and have been admitted to IGNOU, you can do so. You may get additional information from its official website, which I also visited. I shall always remember this college favorably. This is the most amazing experience I've ever had. Seniors, staff, and administration will assist you in any way they can. The teachers' teaching abilities are exceptional. You will never get anything back from a teacher. Learning here has a very good atmosphere.

Directorate of Distance Education, Madurai Kamaraj University admission is done through merit based. Students qualify the eligibility criteria set by the university as per the course.

Q:   Can I get a fee refund at MKU DDE?
A: 

No, MKU DDE does not provide a refund of fees if a student wishes to cancel or withdraw his/her admission. However, the institute may provide a refund of fees in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payments: If students have accidentally made duplicate payments for the same programme, they are entitled to a refund of duplicate payment.
  • Processing errors: If an error has been made in processing a student's payment that results in an overcharge or incorrect amount being deducted, then the particular student is entitled to a refund of duplicate payment.
  • Service cancellation: In case the institute decided to cancel the programme, any fees paid by  the students are refunded.

Good faculty, placement, and infrastructure.
Placements: Up to 80-90% of students were placed in my course. The highest is 3 LPA per annum, and the lowest is 1 LPA per annum. The top recruiting companies are TCl and many more. The percentage of students who got internships is up to 90-95%. The top roles offered for my course are company secretary.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and courses available are of very good quality, and labs are very updated with up-to-date technology. The hostel facilities are the best and carefully maintained. They provide the best quality food that suits everyone. Overall, the best infrastructure and hostel service.
Faculty: The teachers in my department are highly qualified and have the best teaching style in an understandable way. They have great knowledge; some of them are personal who completed CAs and all. The course makes students ready to face the work environment with the best knowledge.
Other: I opted for this course because I'm interested in company secretaries; best job opportunity. 2. More out-of-campus activities. 3. Best events and engaging activities.

Placements: The recruitment rate for the discipline of MCA stood between 48 to 69 percent. IBM and Deloitte play a major role in the process of recruitment for the discipline of MCA. We got hired for some other roles like Software development Technical roles and cloud computing with the negotiated pay. The recruitment process is quite impressive and encouraging for all the candidates facing recruitment drives.
Infrastructure: The capacities for accommodation are usually lower than 500, which includes both the girls and boys hostels. Some of the luxurious facilities like shuttle clubs swimming pool and gym are also arranged for the students to make them physically fit and to feel relaxed.
Faculty: Faculty members stay tuned with the students irrespective of changes in regulations of the various batches. The charm and the energy of the faculty members are so unique and they show their best of all the time. Their teaching is almost equal to the standardized education from some other foreign universities.

This career is good for my future.
Placements: 85 percent of students can get the placement. The students also put in some effort to get the placement. The placement sir will guide the students. Wipro TATA and Consultancy services etc to know more details of our college they already mentioned below. I do not know but the 4th semester will get the internship.
Infrastructure: The facilities of infrastructure are too good. The Wi-Fi connection is something we do not know about because Fatima College will not allow mobile phones. The classrooms and Labs are good and the library is a place to relax. I do not know about the hostel but the food tastes good.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and they also have to study more and more before they take classes. They will understand the students mindset and at last they will teach. Average students will say that the semester question paper is tough but the toppers will not say that question paper is tough but 1 or 2 subjects will be tough in the semester.
Other: I chose it because of creative and innovative new ideas and I have to face the problems by myself. Teacher will allow students and staff to work together. Events and fest etc are too good no compromises in that.

This career is good for me.
Placements: Above 85 percent of students will get placements, and students put more effort into it. The packages are offered in our college with minimum price. The recruiting companies are eye hospital, etc. According to our study, the recruiting will be placed. In 4th semester, students will get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is used by teachers and faculty members, students won't use it because our college won't allow mobile phones. Classrooms and library places are there to relax and freshen our minds.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They teach again and again till they reach the students. Teachers are selected based on test and their quality. Students can approach the teachers anytime, and they will talk to us in a friendly way. Whenever we have doubts, they will clear for us.
Other: I chose this course because we can think more creatively being individuals and solve many problems with the guidance of staff members. Events and fests are too good. We can study on time and enjoy the moment. This is the best college for the students. Events and fests are coming, and they will allow it.

Simply, my career is good for me.
Placements: Students who score above 80% get placement. They must put in effort to secure a job. Those who get placed receive a salary of Rs. 20,000–Rs. 25,000. The average package is also offered because students can learn and develop their knowledge and skills.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, so I don’t know about the hostel. The infrastructure is good. Labs, classrooms, and library are good. The library is a good place to relax and read many books. I don’t know about the Wi-Fi connection because we don’t use mobile phones during class hours.
Faculty: Some exams may be difficult because weaker students can't study all the units. Those who score above 85% can easily attend the semester exams. But they may struggle to get higher marks due to tough questions. Not all subjects have tough questions, but one or two may be difficult.
Other: I chose this course to be creative and innovate new ideas. Studying business administration requires being more creative about one's work.

Absolutely satisfied with the curriculum, education, faculty, and overall experience.
Placements: 50% of students got their placement from English Literature as teachers, telecallers, and lecturers. Others are continuing their Ph.D. Rs. 20,000 is the highest package. If you passed NET, you can get up to 60,000/-. But the others only get 10,000 as a salary. Deloitte, Kendriya schools, and other local schools are major recruiters. Internship is mandatory, so all of us go to internships in digital marketing, journalism, and teaching fields. Content writers are the current roles that pay in lakhs.
Infrastructure: Mobile phones are restricted in our college, so the free Wi-Fi is not very helpful. Still, we can access the library books and labs with the ID scanner at any working time. Our hostel consists of 700 students, where we actually get good quality food and provisions of medical facilities, often once a week. Sports players are highly encouraged, and even normal students are appreciated for playing.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly in our department. The sister and other president heads are a bit more strict and can't even handle the stress sometimes. They never failed to teach with their experience and expertise. Our curriculum is based on the government syllabus and is relevant to the course. Although semester exams are tricky, we've been trained to tackle them by the internal exam difficulties. We plan according to how difficult the internal exams are; the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose the arts because they preach life and reality. We know the history of England, which helps us understand the impact it created in India, like other colonized countries. More language-based teaching would be a plus if added. Our department, especially, conducts lots of competitions, both inter- and intra-level, and all are encouraged and motivated to participate. Scholarships also reach the right people. We don't have enough time to connect or socialize, which lacks some real-life skills.
