MNLU Mumbai admits students based solely on their performance in the entrance examination. Those seeking admission to the UG programme at MNLU Mumbai must take the CLAT, while those seeking admission to the PG programme must take the CLAT PG.  For the LLM programme a candidate's eligibility for admission to the LLM programme is determined by their performance on the CLAT as well as the LLB with a 50% score. In order to register for the CLAT, candidates need to visit the official CLAT website. Out of the 50 seats available, there are 10 supernumerary seats under the Foreign National / NRI / NRI Sponsored category and 2 seats reserved for Jammu & Kashmir permanent residents.

MNLU Mumbai offers one-year LLM course spread across two semesters. The university offers LLM in various specialisations such as LLM in Maritime, LLM in Corporate and Commercial Laws, LLM in Constitutional and Administrative Law, LLM in Investment & Securities Law, and LLM professional. Aspirants who have completed LLB or five-year integrated LLB course can apply for any of the LLM specialisations.

There are 298 seats available for the LLM programme at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, for the academic year 2023-24. The admission to the LLM programme at Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai shall be held through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) conducted by Consortium of NLUs on merit basis. The eligibility criteria for admission is the same as notified by the CLAT Consortium. The duration of the LLM (Professional) programme is one-year.

During MNLU Mumbai internships 2024, 82 offers were distributed. Earlier, 76 internships were made during 2023 drive. From 2022 to 2024, an improving trend wa srecorded in the number of internships.

MNLU admission 2025 is entrance/merit-based. To get admission to the MNLU, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. For a UG degree, candidates must complete Class 12 and for a PG degree, aspirants must complete graduation.The college offers BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, MBA, etc., UG and PG-level courses. Apart from the UG and PG courses, the college also offers PhD, certificate, PhD, and PG Diploma courses. To be admitted to the MNLU, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college.
