B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) - Batch of 2029
Offered by Department of Law, Maharshi Dayanand University
3.6
2.0Placements3.0Infrastructure4.0Faculty4.0Crowd & Campus Life5.0Value for Money
Good faculty and decent infrastructure, but placements need great improvement.
Placements: Placements at MDU Rohtak LL.B. are weak. The placement cell isn't very active for law students, and the numbers back that up. The median packages have been under 1.5 LPA lately, and they don't even share the highest package figure. Most students end up finding their own internships by emailing lawyers directly rather than through college. Faculty is decent though, with some practising lawyers and retired judges giving real exposure. Many students go for judiciary exams or an LL.M. instead of corporate jobs. Fine if you're self-driven, but don't expect much placement support here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the law course itself is decent. The classrooms have whiteboards and projectors. There's a moot court hall for practice, and a dedicated law library with journals and reference books. Hostel-wise, it's a mixed experience. Rooms are generally clean with basic amenities bed, table, cupboard, Wi-Fi, and security is decent, with guards on duty. Food is the weak point, though mess quality is often average to poor, and many students end up eating at the canteen instead. Overall, it's livable and affordable, just don't expect luxury.
Faculty: Faculty is genuinely one of the better parts here. Many teachers are qualified, helpful, and some are practising lawyers or retired judges who bring real courtroom experience into class. Teaching quality is generally good, though a few students feel it could be more practical and less theory-heavy. The curriculum is updated and covers recent legal developments, with decent moot court practice built in. That said, some feel more hands-on work, internships, and case-based learning would help. Exams are conducted properly and fairly, not overly tough if you study regularly. Overall, solid academic foundation, especially useful for judiciary exam aspirants.
Other: I'm currently in the 3rd year of the 5-year B.A. LL.B. course at MDU Rohtak's Department of Law. I chose this course to build a strong legal foundation early, with the added benefit of general subjects alongside law. The best part has been the faculty. Many are qualified and helpful, plus there's solid moot court practice and a good law library. I wish placements and internship support were stronger, since most of it is self-driven. Campus life is decent, with occasional fests and events. Connectivity to Delhi is convenient, and SC/ST scholarships are available.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
Offered by St. Andrews Institute of Technology and Management
5.0
5.0Placements5.0Infrastructure5.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life5.0Value for Money
This college is the area's best college because of its faculty, good placements, and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement in this college is very good. Many students get placed. The highest package offered in the B.Tech course is 45 LPA, the average package is 6-7 LPA, and the lowest package is 3-4 LPA. All students get internships along with the course. The top roles offered include web development, data science, AI/ML, and more.
Infrastructure: If we talk about facilities of this college, they are very good. The college provides all kinds of facilities such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. The college also has a Mac Lab, smart classrooms, and a modern library with more than 1500 books. The hostel facilities are also good. Wi-Fi is available in every room, good quality food in the mess, and medical facilities are available in the hostel.
Faculty: All teachers in this college are very helpful. The teaching quality is also good. The curriculum is relevant, which helps students become industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult because teachers teach in a way that makes preparation easier. The passing percentage is 30%.
Other: This college hosts events, festivals, and various competitions, including real-world coding projects. Scholarships are also awarded based on students' 12th-grade percentage.

B.Tech. in Textile Technology - Batch of 2028
Offered by Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences

Review of Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences.
Placements: If I talk about my branch, which is Textile Technology and other textile branches, the placement is 100 percent. The highest package is about 18 LPA and the average is 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Every student gets an internship in textile branches. If students work on their own skills and curriculum, then they get high placement, and the alumni network is sooo strong that in every textile industry you'll find Titian.
Infrastructure: Everything is available, like a library, Wi-Fi, labs, and textile machinery that you won't find in other colleges. I am not a hosteler, but the quality of food I have is above average and the canteen recently got a little downgrade as the tender changed. There are cafes and shops out of the campus nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are very experienced and with core knowledge of Textile, the curriculum is average, but if a student can research well, then it's good for him. Semester exams are not so tough. Teachers are well experienced and help you in all exams and in every problem, even if it's personal. I mean they are very friendly.
Other: To get B.Tech from textile, this is one of the best colleges and with 100 percent placements. There are a few fests that happen every year that are a lot of fun. As in a small city, you can assume the locals and students are not so modernised, and fest culture is not that so good as in big campuses.

Best college for LL.B. course.

Valuable roles like legal advisor, legal consultant, junior associate, etc., are offered by various firms.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are very high-tech and air-conditioned. The libraries are well-managed and updated. The major LL.B. Books are also available from renowned writers. The canteen is also very clean and offers diverse food like rajma chawal, chole chawal, pizzas, beverages, etc.
Faculty: The professors are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The teachers are very supportive like how they always take up questions and clear them until the student gets the point. The course curriculum is very beneficial as each semester has 6 to 7 subjects. All very relevant.
