Review of Computer Science at MDU Rohtak.

Placements: In 2026 the highest on-campus package is 11 LPA for 2 students. The average package is about 6 LPA. There are offers from various new tech companies for the role of data analytics and many more. Local new start-ups offer internships to students while many students opt for off-campus placements.

Infrastructure: The building and infrastructure are well maintained, and all the designed labs are well-equipped with proper lab technicians. The hostels are quite good and provide full safety. Wi-Fi connections are a bit slow, whereas the food is good and different every day.

Faculty: Faculty is good but being a local college, their accent could be from Haryana but the knowledge is great and they are well educated. The curriculum is based on the New Education Policy and from time to time exams are conducted and studies are good to do, but teaching levels are not very high.

Other: Events and fests are held on time. Scholarships are available here for all government schemes.

MDU Rohtak review: Best hotel and campus life.

Placements: Total 200 students in my course. Coming on the package for freshers, it's about 5 LPA to 6 LPA. For students who have the best skills, the package goes up to 10 LPA. It's all about how you study. From 1st year, you'll start studying the language and gain knowledge about it. In 2nd year you have to make a portfolio or 2-3 mini projects. In 3rd year, you get an internship and experience.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of MDU is well maintained and it's full of good resources and equipment. Classrooms are well maintained and neat and clear. All hostels in MDU are good, with neat and clean rooms, a hygienic mess, Wi-Fi, and a playground.

Faculty: The faculty is amazing in MDU. They are supportive, frank, and best in nature, and have good knowledge of their subjects. Coming to exams, they're not too difficult. The passing percentage is 40 percent in exams, you'll study the important topics and focus on PYQs.

Other: BCA means Bachelor of Computer Applications, like a master's in computer languages. In a 3-year course, we'll learn a number of languages like Python, CSA, C++, Java, HTML, etc.

Good college for low-priced courses.

Placements: Placements at my college for BAJMC are fewer, as the number of students is also less. With respect to the number of students in our class, the placements are okay. I have no idea about the placement percentage for last year. But this year also, we think there will be equal to or fewer placements, or no placements.

Infrastructure: For our course, the infrastructure is in Block A. This was the first building built in 2005. Block A has Indian washrooms, a lack of door locks, and the washrooms are not maintained. We can usually find the washrooms dirty and not clean to our satisfaction.

Faculty: The curriculum is okay, not very hard, and it is easy to score good marks. The college decides the curriculum, and exams are also made by teachers in our college. The college is going to become autonomous, so all the curriculum and exams are held within the college and checked by the teachers themselves.

Other: For crowd and campus life, it is good. We can find Haryanvi students and a very small number of day scholars, but if you get along well with them, you can enjoy your campus life.

Placements: 85 percent of students got placed. The highest package goes up to 18 LPA and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting company is Adani Solar and 89 percent of students got internships. Top roles offered are Senior Executive and students who got internships are also placed.

Infrastructure: Labs with every tools and experiential things that we required. There are digital boards in the classroom with a projector, and all types of books for all courses are available in the library. 24/7 Wi-Fi is available. The hostel has both AC and non-AC options. The sports grounds and food quality are good.
