Q:   Can I get direct admission at Mahindra University, Hyderabad?
A: 

Mahindra University Hyderabad offers entrance-based admission to BTech. Further, for BBA, BBA LLB, BJMC, and others, the university offers merit-based admission. Applicants seeking admission to BTech, are required to appear in one entrance exam accepted by the university i.e. JEE Main and SLAT. Further, for admission to all other UG and PG courses, admission is based on the last qualifying exam score i.e. Pass Class 12 for UG courses, pass graduation for PG courses and pass master's degree for admission to PhD courses.

Mahindra University does not look for a minimum marks. They put more focus on the consistency of the student in their bachelor's degree, done in a recognised board/university, hence they ask for a detailed report submission during application, if your marks in your bachelor's degree takes an upward graph, that also works in your favour. 

They also ask for your grades in standardized exams, GMAT, CAT and GRE.

For admission to BBA at Mahindra University, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as given below:

Eligibility: Class 12th with a minimum 80% or equivalent grade (For BBA (Applied Economics & Finance) and BBA (Computational Business Analytics) programmes, Mathematics as a subject is mandatory in the 12th grade)

Selection Criteria: Merit-based

Note: Students with valid SAT Scores will also be considered for admission (however these scores are not mandatory).

The college is good and worth joining.
Placements: The average package is 6 LPA. Top companies visit the college to hire people. Students with good knowledge will be placed in better positions. Every year many students get passed out with good packages. Students can choose whatever company they want to work with.
Infrastructure: Campus is so huge and surrounded by trees. Classrooms are good, and a 24x7 Wi-Fi facility is available. Hostel rooms are so good. Washrooms are clean. There is a Fifa-verified football ground, swimming pool, basketball court, tennis court, etc. Mess food is so good. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: All the faculty members are so good. Everyone are well educated and have done their PhD in related courses. Teaching is not traditional method. Faculty members will make us understand things in very easy way. Digital teaching is encouraged here. Tests after completing a big topic will be held.
Other: The college conducts many events and fests. There are fests, which are not only related to enjoyment but also there are few fests related to studies. Aeon is the biggest tech fest which happens at Mahindra University. These is also a fest known as Aether which is the biggest fest in the entire year.

Absolutely crazy college.
Placements: Mahindra University provides good placements and you are guaranteed to be placed in a good company. Mahindra is tied up with big companies and the average package is 10 lakhs per annum with the highest package being 45 lakhs per annum. Your placement depends on your academic performance. The top recruiting companies are Amazon Intel Tech Mahindra and BYJU'S.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my Nano technology course is good with well equipped classrooms and labs. The hostel facilities are also good with comfortable cottages and a well stocked library. The mess serves good quality food and there's a clinic on campus with a certified doctor. The total cost of my course is 4.5 Lacs per annum, and the hostel fee is 2 Lacs per annum.
Faculty: The faculty at Mahindra University are very good and helpful, and they're like family. They're very approachable and communicative, and they provide special hours for doubt clearance sessions. The teaching methods are very good, and Mahindra University is ahead of other colleges in this area. There are also tutorial classes where you can clear out your doubts, which is very helpful for many students. The exams are a bit difficult, to be honest, and we need to be prepared for that. The passing percentage isn't fixed at a certain number because it's based on relative grading in our college.
Other: I chose nanotechnology as my course because I had a good interest in nanoparticles. It turned out to be a good course with interesting subjects. Studying at Mahindra was fun because the faculty were very good and felt like family. I don't think there is anything that could be improved in my course because it is already very good. There are two events per year, one a fest and the other a sports event.

A well all-rounded university great for personal and professional growth.
Placements: Our seniors were the first to be placed. They are still in the final stages of the placement cycle. There is an average of 8 Lacs and the highest of 32 Lacs so far for the BBA batch. Big 4 was a major recruiter. Most of the roles were in the hiring department and finance.
Infrastructure: Everything is great. There is a great variety of food catering to all, including vegetarian and Jains. Facilities are modern and up to date. The taste is very good with a weekly change in the menu. Medical facilities are good. There are nearby restaurants and hospitals catering to needs that may arise any time.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified. The curriculum is exactly what the 2030 goals align to. Exams are easy if prepared well. There is over a 90% pass percentage. This goes to show how such a college is beneficial and is adapting towards changing marketing dynamics, ensuring every student is equally competent.
Other: College life is great. This course is a blend of both finance and economics, which is perfect for me to thrive in a competitive market.

Decent placements are available after course completion.
Placements: As far as I have experienced, the placement report for our college shows that around 80-90% of the students get placements, and the rest still look for jobs or opt for higher studies. Up to 50 companies visit the campus for placements. The highest package offered by the college is 24 LPA, the average package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 2 LPA. Internships are also offered to students from the beginning of the second year.
Infrastructure: The facilities of our college are pretty good. The facilities available in our college include smart classrooms, sports facilities mainly related to indoor sports, and a medical room. The hostels have decent facilities, and the mess offers good quality food.
Faculty: The course curriculum of our college has been designed in a manner that helps us learn and apply new concepts of business. Sometimes the professors are not very helpful, but other times they are helpful and teach us really well. There are two exams that take place in one semester.

It's a practical-based course curriculum with decent placements.
Placements: Your college has a dedicated placement cell, but only 40-50 companies visit the campus for student placements. Approximately 80% of students in our course secure placements. The median package offered by the college is 6 LPA. Internships are offered, and students with good academics and skills have the opportunity to intern at Mahindra. Other recruiting companies include HTC, TCS, Amazon, Capgemini, IBM, and various startups in Hyderabad.
Infrastructure: The college campus is not very large but offers many facilities. There are sports grounds where we can play cricket, football, volleyball, tennis, etc. A medical room is available for treatment. CCTV cameras are installed in classrooms and labs. Cafeterias serve good-quality food.
Faculty: In our course, professors have over 20 years of experience, while some have 10+ years. Most use practical techniques, including case studies and examples, to help us understand subjects. The curriculum covers management subjects like marketing, finance, accounting, operations, human resources, etc.

Placements: Our college provides excellent placements. The salary packages offered are very low. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent infrastructure. Two students share a single room. Air-conditioners and two fans are available in the rooms. Wi-Fi is available. The quality of the food in the mess is excellent. They serve a variety of food. The library is good and huge. Many books are available. Labs are excellent.
Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent. It is an excellent course.
