Mangalore University Scholarships and Funding
The University and other Agencies/Trusts offer the following scholarships to the deserving and
meritorious students.
1. Scholarships for Differently abled
2. Post-Metric Scholarships
3. Karnataka Minority Scholarship
4. G.O.I. National Merit Scholarship including E.B.L. and Tour Grant to SC/ST
5. Scholarships to the Children of Mica/Iron Ore/Manganese Ore/Chrome Ore/Lime Stone and
Dolomite workers
6. Scholarships to the Children of Beedi Workers
7. Educational Stipends to the Children of Cardamom Plantation workers
8. Karnataka Labour Welfare Commission Scholarships
9. S.J. Jindal Trust Scholarships for those who secure 55% of marks and above, Requisition format
for applications will be available in the Registrar’s Office
10. Endowment Scholarships (a) Ganesh Pai Memorial and (b) MukundaRao Memorial.
11. Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child.

Placements: Around 25% of students got placed in the course. The salary package ranges between 2 LPA to 5 LPA. Moss Adams was one of the top recruiting companies. Nearly 90% of students got internships in different firms. The main role offered is accountant.
Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed in companies like Crisil, EY-Parthenon, KPMG, etc. The maximum package offered is 12 LPA. About 25-35 students participated in this workshop. Almost 90% of students got internships at big companies. Many roles offered are economic, data analysis, etc.
Placements: In our college, students can pursue advanced courses such as BBA in Aviation and Hospitality Management and BBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. However, the college does not provide any placement assistance, so students are responsible for finding jobs on their own. Most students secure placements at Bangalore International Airport, with many working for Air India Seats.
Placements: About 78% of the students found jobs through campus recruitment. The highest package is 8.5 LPA, the lowest is 3.2 LPA, and the average is 5.1 LPA. Some of the best places to work are Infosys, TCS, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and PwC. Around 85% of students got internships at well-known companies like HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, and well-known CA firms. Placements: Students who achieved above 79% in the last session were chosen. The top package was 27 Lacs, while the lowest one was not specified. The leading firms include Intel Corporation, Razorpay, LTI, Mindtree, and others. Between 50 and 75 students secured the internships. The leading positions available include yield development engineer, optical engineer, and others.
Placements: I am in BCA final year and I am going to passout around May. In our class, 4 people got the placements. The highest package is 1.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 1 LPA. Top recruiting company is Accenture. Internships we are supposed to do on our own. We do not have to an internship compulsory as we are having a project. Top role offered in our course is developer.
