Mangalore University is commonly known as MU. It is a public university situated in Konaje, Mangaluru, Karnataka, India. The National Assessment and Accreditation Counsel (NAAC) awarded Mangalore University an 'A' grade in 2021.

Mangalore University has 26 postgraduate departments. In addition to it Mangalore University also has two constituent colleges, five autonomous colleges, and more than 200 colleges affiliated with it.
