MLSU admission process differs based on the course, candidate applying for. Admission to UG courses at MLSU is based on aggregate score obtained in the qualifying exam followed by the counselling. BTech and BArch admissions at MLSU are based on rank secured in the JEE Main and NATA entrance examinations, respectively. The final selection for BTech and BArch is done though REAP counselling.

The MLSU hostel fee consists of various components including entry fee, room rent, electricity bill and maintenance charges. Hostel fee varies based on the type of room at the university. During 2022 placements, the University has recorded the highest-ever package of INR 45 LPA. Earlier, the highest package stood at INR 7 LPA during 2021 placements. Over the past three years, a fluctuating trend was recorded in the highest package. Take a look at the below table depicting the MLSU the highest package trends:

The average package offered from 2020 to 2022 placements indicates an improving trend. On the other hand, the highest package and median package have been fluctuating. Further, the lowest package has declined year-on-year. Refer to the table below for MLSU placement package trends:

MLSU passing percentage for professional courses like MBA, MCA and BCA shall be 40% in individual papers and 50% in aggregate. In addition to this, candidate shall also be required to pass in external examination by scoring a minimum of 40% in each paper at Mohanlal Sukhadia University. MLSU admission requirements may varies courses to courses. For most of the courses MLSU accept the admission on the basis of merit list.
