All the latest updates regarding Nalsar University admissions are as follows:
- The TG LAWCET 2026 exam has been conducted for admission to the 3-year LLB and 5-year Integrated LLB courses. The result is scheduled to released tentatively on Jun 5, 2026.
- The CLAT 2026 PG 5th and final merit list is out for admission to the PG-level LLM programme. Students must pay the confirmation fee by May 20, 2026, to either Float or Freeze their allotted seats.
- The CLAT 2026 fifth and final merit list for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) courses is now released. Students must pay the confirmation fee by May 25, 2026, to freeze their allotted seats.

NALSAR University of Law, don’t offer admission to BA LLB and LLM programmes without a valid CLAT score. Candidates looking forward to practising law in India, are required to clear the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) that is conducted by BCI. On clearing the AIBE exam, lawyers are awarded a ‘Certificate of Practice’ which is mandatory for practising the profession as an advocate in India. However, aspirants who wish to apply for MBA or BBA may not require CLAT and can get admission based on other accepted entrance exams.

Nalsar University is a Hyderabad based Law university which offers degrees in the field of law, like BA LLB ( Hons), B.Sc. LLB, LLM etc. Just like other colleges, here too the fee structure strictly depends upon the programme you are opting for, that is, the fee structure for BA LLB (Hons) will be different than that for the LLM students . According to this college's website the fee structure within the LLM will be different for different programs . I e , for LLM General students, the tuition fees will be 1,75,000 with a refundable deposite of 20,000 . whereas LLM in insolvency and bankruptcy law's students will have to pay a tuition fees of 2,25,000 with a refundable deposite of 20,000.
Aspirants are offered seat in NALSAR University of Law top courses such as BA LLB (Hons) and LLM based on CLAT score. Candidates with a good rank in CLAT have a chance of getting admission in the university. Besides, the selection for BBA is based on IPMAT, JIPMAT or CLAT scores. National Law University Kolkata, being a University of National importance since it's a NLU, offers great packages to its students be it in the BA LLB (Hons) or be it in LLM . Nalsar University stands behind NLU Kolkata (NUJS) with a great placement record over the years. In the year of 2022 NLU Kolkata placement stats were great with 96 out of 118 BA LLB students getting placed with a median package of 16pla. Out of 66 LLM students 44 students were placed with a median package of 7 lpa, which is respectable in itself.
As per the eligibility criteria specified by NALSAR University, the minimum required aggregate ranges between 45% and 50%. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 have a chance of getting admission in the university. Besides, candidates also need to qualify the accepted entrance exam. Aspirants wishing to pursue BA LLB (Hons) must appear for CLAT. For BBA, aspirants with IPMAT, JIPMAT or CLAT score can apply for admission.

Yes, NALSAR University of Law offers five-year BA LLB (Hons) programme. It is a full-time course. For admission to the course, candidates need to take the CLAT exam. In order to be admitted to NALSAR University of Law's Master of Laws (LLM) program, applicants must have earned at least 50% of their LLB or its equivalent. SC/ST candidates need to receive a minimum of 45% in their scores.
Candidates need to pass the CLAT PG test in order to be accepted into the LLM program. There are three required subjects, six electives, and a dissertation in the one-year curriculum.
