On the basis of the merit score of the student, he/she is alloted a branch. It then depends on the student whether he/she wants to accept the offered branch or wait and see if their branch gets upgraded.

For state quota admissions, taking the GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) is usually required to enroll in Nirma University's BTech program. Nevertheless, there are alternative ways to be admitted as well. For students in the area, this is the most popular route. A sizeable portion of seats are set aside for individuals who meet the requirements of GUJCET.Nirma University takes JEE Main results into consideration for all-India seats. Applying for the all-India quota is possible if you have a strong JEE Main score but haven't taken the GUJCET.Additionally, Nirma University has a set number of seats set aside for management quota, which is usually filled through an alternative selection procedure and may not necessarily require JEE Main or GUJCET grades.
