During NIT Silchar Placements 2022, 97 students were placed with 537 offers. The highest salary received was INR 44 LPA which was offered by Amazon. Students received an average salary of INR 13.58 LPA. If I compare the Faculty, Opportunities & Placements for MBA, Tezpur University is well ahead of NIT Silchar. At the end of the day the reputation of your programme matters more than the reputation of the institute. NIT Silchar is new in the field of MBA. Only 1 or 2 batch of MBA has passed out from here.

Generally the admission in NITs depends on several factors such as the availability of seats, number of applicants, and difficulty level of the examination. Generally, a score of 31 marks in JEE Mains might not be enough to secure a seat in NIT Silchar. However, it is advisable to check the official cut off marks for the current year and compare your score with the minimum qualifying marks.
