The MAT 2026 May session registrations have started for admission to the MBA course. For the PBT mode, the registration deadline is May 25, 2026, with the exam scheduled for May 31, 2026. For the CBT mode, the last date to register is Jun 8, 2026, for the exam taking place on Jun 14, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The IIT JAM 2026 counselling registration is now over for admission to the MSc course. Students can submit their choices till May 6, 2026, with the first admission list to be declared tentatively on May 25, 2026.
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.
- The CSAB Special Counselling 2025 Round 3 has concluded with the announcement of the seat allotment results for admission to BE/BTech courses.

At the overall college level, the tuition fees for various courses is INR 32,000 - 5,00,000. If we dig deep, for the UG courses, the tuition fee is INR 5,00,000. Students willing to take admission at NIT Silchar for an MBA are required to submit their application form along with the required documents and the applicable application fee. The NIT Silchar MBA application fee for General/OBC candidates is INR 1500. The application fee for SC/ST/EWS candidates is INR 1,000.
