If you are from general category ,you are not qualified for JEE Adv exam 2019.But that is not the end of the road. Everyone who appeared for Jee Mains are qualified to participate JoSSA counselling which are scheduled to be held after JEE Adv result .Even person at the bottom i.e having Zero percentile can take part in counselling process for seat allotment for the NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs),You have bright chance for getting good NIT or other good engineering colleges under Home state quota.This counselling will continue for seven round. After that two special round will be conducted CSAB for allotment of leftover seats in the above colleges. There is precedence of getting seat by candidates whose rank is more than 9 lac in previous years.
