JAM has been established as a benchmark for undergraduate-level science education in the country for the last two decades. The objective of JAM is to provide admissions to postgraduate degree programmes and to consolidate Science as a career option for students across the country. JOAPS stands for JAM Online Application Portal System. The portal is used for registration, downloading admit card, checking result and applying for admission. All communication regrding JAM is intimated through JOAPS Portal. The login credentials for JOAPS portal are generated during the JAM registration process.
IIT JAM exam is conducted for three hours. The test will be held in two sessions. The mode of exam is computer based test (CBT).
