For seeking admission, candidates need to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 55 per cent aggregate. Eligible candidates are further shortlisted and granted seats to the specialisations of their preference based on NSAT score. JEE Main-qualified candidates are also preferred for admission.

Noida International University once registration fees and application fees are paid are non-refundable. Candidates who paid fees for eserving a seat are non-refundable and non-transferable if they are less than the prescribed fee. Further, candidates can apply for a refund of programme fees by submitting an application in the prescribed format. The refund amount is deducted by 50% for administrative charges. In addition to its BTech specialisations, NIU also offers two more BTech specialisations in association with International Business Machines (IBM). Admission to a four-year BTech-IBM programme is based on aggregate obtained by a candidate in Class 12.
The University comprises of 11 schools that offer over 150 programmes at UG, PG, Diploma and doctoral level in multiple disciplines. Some of the top schools of the University, include School of Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Law and Legal Affairs, Business Management and many more.
The modes of Noida International University course admissions are online and offline. Admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate courses is based on merit and scores of entrance tests. At the undergraduate level, the Noida International University offers three to four-year BSc, BTech, three-year BCA, and other courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the university offers two-year MCA, MSc, and other courses to students. The university also offers PhD and other courses to students.

NIU MBA admission is based on NSAT score. However, candidates, with 55 percentile or above in MAT or 55 per cent or above in CAT are, exempted from NSAT and directly given admission. For fulfilling the minimum eligibility requirement, a candidate needs to pass a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate. The varsity offers a two-year dual specialisation MBA programme which means that candidates have a customisable option of pursuing their degree in two discrete specialisation alternatives.
