Fully satisfied because of the best infrastructure and placements.
Placements: The placement of the college is not that much best but at least it can be rated as more than average because every year, 70-80% of the students got placed in good companies with good salaries. The companies visit in our college for placement offers generally from 7.2 LPA to 2.8 LPA. Many of the companies visit here and select the capable students. In fact, each and every year the placement percentage is increasing and a large number of students is getting placed with a good salary. In fact, off-campus drives are also held where outsiders can also come and sit on the campus. Our training and placement officer also interacts with companies worldwide for the placements with a good package, so that each student can be happily placed when he/she is leaving the college. In fact, the students from 7th semester are also placed and start their internships from the 4th semester and the 6th semester itself. The college also allows them for the same.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too good and the mainly this college is famous for its greenery and cleanliness. The college regularly manages its infrastructure. The various services are provided here 24*7. There are classrooms are in rounds shape with benches on a stairs pattern, a big green board in every class with a projector and a projector screen too. Practical labs with every new and old technology instruments with good lab instructors are provided. A library with more than 15000 books and with a digital library is also available.
There are hostels with the capacity of almost 1000 boys, 300 girls separately and the rooms are according to the choices as single, double or triple bed. Each hostel has separate wardens to maintain the hostel and the students. Wardens stay within the hostel itself 24*7.
A cafeteria is there for students with the capacity of 1000 (boys) & 500 (girls) with complete cleanliness. The campus is totally Wi-Fi enabled and 24*7 available. A healthcare centre is there with minimum two doctors, a lady doctor with 2 compounders and a nurse are available 24x7.
Faculty: All faculty members are highly qualified and excellent in their own fields. More than 65% faculty members have done their PhD or MPhil and the rest of the faculty members have a masters degree in their own specialisation.
In the curriculum of the university, the students studied some management subjects along with the technical subjects. Professional development and humanity are mandatory subjects for every student which help us in the future for getting a job.

OPJU: to new standards in higher education.
Placements: Placement didn't go well for our batch of OPJIT 2012-16. Now the college has become a university and is transforming to higher standards. University has links to many companies and MNCs and not to forget, it's JSPL and JSW.
All I can say is you can take admission here when you don't have any better option.
Infrastructure: University is situated at Ambikabur road 20km from Raigarh city and 12 km from Gharghoda city. You can have a lush green environment at one hand and industries on the other.
Good infrastructure and will expand in near future. Hostel facility is better than any other institute. I am sure about this.
Other special features such as canteen, Wi-Fi, library and lab with equipment are provided.
Faculty: Well experienced faculty members from IITs, NITs and other well-known institutes. Guest lecturers from foreign universities. Courses offered for engineering and management studies. Industrial visits provided regularly for practical experience. Problem and project-based learning are provided by forming groups of students and guided by a faculty.
Other: As this institution is new and founded in the recent years, you can't be sure about its success. The institute is located at Raigarh district which is not as developed in education as Raipur and Bhilai.
This institute can offer a great industrial exposure. You can trust on the well known Jindal group and its branches.

I would recommend to take admission only on the scholarship basis.
Placements: Just forget about placement in civil engineering branch, not a single company came for civil engineering branch so students have to find a job on their own. Talking about other branches, students may get placed in average reputed companies with an average package of about 2 to 4 lacs.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure or may say, the best infrastructure in our state. All the facilities are available for education and the best workshop lab is there for students to work. Smart classes are available and the whole campus structure is made of steel which looks very attractive.
Faculty: Honestly saying, some of the faculty members are very good but some are worst. They don't know how to teach, what to teach, and they don't support the students. Various clubs are there which makes the students more creative. Various seminars and international conferences are held every year in which students can present their ideas with papers.
Other: OP Jindal University is situated at remote area, 25km away from te main Raigarh city which is too far. Local buses are cheaper than the college bus facility. A good library, good hostel facility, sports, but the events are the worst. Tapri and dhabas are available near the campus.

Disappointed from this college because of the location, faculty members and food quality.
Placements: Placement of this college was not satisfactory as none of the company of Jindal comes here for placement. The highest salary was around 900k and placement was around 60-70% for CS and EEE students. The least placement was from core branches like mechanical, metallurgy and civil engineering. Some famous companies have come for placement were Eicher, Volvo, HCL, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. New hostel is well constructed and designed. Classrooms are also satisfactory but the worst thing about college is food quality and taste of food of the mess. College canteen food taste is average but you won't get much variety of food there. Some facilities in the college campus includes medical facilities, sports, library, AC gym, T.V. Room in hostel and an open theater and an auditorium where we can see movies on weekend with the permission of the Dean of the college.
Faculty: Faculty members were good when I took admission but now the most of them have left the college. Some new staff have come but they are not that much well qualified and experienced. If I talk about course curriculum, the college is new. Course is not well designed because it is a newly formed university. Every semester, they experiment on us with different types of end semester exams and course curriculum.
Other: College is best in Chhattisgarh after NIT and IIIT because infrastructure and machine in lab are complete. The main demerit of the college is the location of college. It is situated 25 kms from Raigarh city. Around this college, a lot of industries are setup which increases pollution level in this area.

Other: It’s a good college with professional and friendly quality teachers and lab assistants with whom u feel comfortable though classes here contains a well blend of oral classes. Oral n PowerPoint presentations from both teachers and students and the college has very good sports and gym facilities. Overall it's d best college in Chhattisgarh.
