Supportive environment, practical learning, but core placements need improvement.

Placements: I'm from civil engineering from batch 2025-29, and the highest package is 42,00,000, and the average package is Rs. 7,00,000. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and L&T. About 75% to 80% students got the internship from my course. Top roles are construction site, planning, and design.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are good with the availability of a projector facility, well-equipped labs for surveying and testing. Wi-Fi is available on campus. The hostel rooms are clean and decent. Mess food quality is average, but hygiene. The canteen food prices are affordable, and the college support in games and events.

Faculty: The teachers are well-experienced and helpful. Their teaching quality is good, and they explain the concept clearly. The college also organises seminars, events, fest and students gets good opportunity to participate on that. The semester exams level are moderate.

Other: I'm from a civil course, and I chose this because I'm interested in infrastructure development. The best part is that in this, we'll get the knowledge of practical learning. I wish more companies would visit for placements. College includes events, festivals like Agresita, hackathon etc.

It’s a positive college experience overall.

Placements: The collage provide placements opportunity to every student. I am pursuing a degree in civil engineering. About 70-80% of students are placed and also secure a rank in government jobs like PSC and UPSC. Ultratech is the top recruiting company for our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of both the hostel and the course is good. Each department has its own lab with a classroom and Wi-Fi facilities. The facility of the hostel is good, having a good cleaning room with AC and non AC room, the hostel also has outdoor sports facilities, with security.

Faculty: The curriculum is relevant and updated according to industry requirement which help student become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the overall pass percentage is satisfactory for sincere students who prepare well. The teaching quality is good.

Other: The campus environment is friendly, and various events and extra curricular activity helps in overall personality development. Overall, the college provides good connectivity, scholarships for deserving students, and a positive campus crowd.

Review of Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management and Technology.

Placements: In this college, not many placements opportunities for civil engineering students. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA during our batch 2019. No fixed companies for civil engineering students. The internship was mandatory so every student got internships in different civil-related companies and government departments.

Infrastructure: In this college, no use of Wi-Fi, laboratories were good, and classrooms were good as well and library was not at par with other colleges. I am a day scholar, so I do not know about the hostel facilities. But I heard from my classmates, that the food was not good from the mess and the canteen. Sorts and games were not at par with other colleges and non-engineering colleges.

Faculty: Teachers were good and some were not good. I would recommend doing research and students find it difficult to land a job after graduating. Exams were not difficult but markings were not good. They don't check answer sheets properly. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: It provides good faculty members and practical-based learnings and a revised syllabus would improve the course.

Good placement for ET and IT CS students.

Placements: I was admitted in BE civil course in year 2017 which consist of batch strength of 63 students. Around 32% individual got placed in the companies and rest are doing there individual things. Some preparing for UPSC, bank etc. Generally students who sit on campus placement got selected. Most of them are in IT field. Avg. Package was 3 lac per annum. Very few students got internship, most of us are in training like PWD, NRDA etc.

Infrastructure: We have a computer lab. Labs for different practical subject like soil testing lab, surveying lab, highway lab etc. Our campus has in house hostel facility. Food was average over there. Sports grounds are there for all different indoor and outdoor activities. We had canteen but in a small area. First AID service for medical emergencies are there.

Faculty: Teaching quality was average. Some teachers are very helpful in guiding for future aspects. It thoroughly depends upon student how he want to grab the opportunity offered by the college. Its was an average college we can say. There are teachers who make you think the subject in a better way.

Other: I was in civil engineering course. Best thing about this course is you can visualize everything which you read in your daily life. More practical knowledge will surely improve my technical knowledge and the problem faced in this field. Every year tech fest is organized in campus.

Teachers are very engaged as there has been notable increase in strength of the students.

Placements: As the placement session has started only few weeks ago, exact data about the percentage of students could not be given, but till now, from the number of companies that came, around 50% of the students have been placed till now. Till now, the highest salary offered was 10 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA, average salary offered being 3.5 LPA. Majority of the companies are for Computer Science and Information Technology students, comparatively less for Electronics and Telecommunication, very few for Mechanical and None for Civil Engineering branch. Since not a single company came for our course, there is no the highest, the lowest and average package offered in our course. Around 50% of the students GOT internships in various places like State Urban Development Authority (SUDA), various state organisations, private companies and also other state agencies like Andhra Pradesh Board, etc.

Infrastructure: For our course, there are various facilities provided such as well-equipped labs for various subjects, great library with most of the important books including many foreign author books and also an amazing e- library with complete access to National Digital Library and some famous International journals such as Elsevier, classrooms are good but in summer the classes become suffocating to some extent due to heat as it is on the second floor. Our mess as well as the canteen is well maintained and hygienic and also all the mess and canteen staff and workers are polite, helpful and cooperative.

Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant to make things understandable as the students can be taught and made these understand not with much difficulty but only theory can not make a student industry ready, more attention should be paid on practical aspects not theory and as much exposure to field and industry should be provided to students during these four years and the college duration itself.

Overall, the college is the best in Chhattisgarh University.

Placements: The placements of this college have always been the best in CSVTU. Nearly, 60% of the students got placed every year in reputed firms. The average salary offered was 3 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Wipro, L&T and Infotech visit the campus.

Infrastructure: There's free Wi-Fi connectivity on the campus. Classrooms and library are spacious and clean. The quality of the food served is good, and there is nothing bad regarding the infrastructure. The hostel accommodation is quite good, and there are plenty of rooms for outstation students.

Faculty: The teachers and faculty are well-qualified, completely helpful and cooperative. The teaching quality is the best for CSVTU. The results are outstanding in academics. The student to faculty ratio is 30:1. There are frequent industrial visits for better learning.

Other: The college fest is organized every year, and the activities are managed by different departments. There is a placement assistance cell which comprises of engineering students, who help during campus drives. The campus environment is quite soothing. Celebrity events are also organised.

SSIPMT is one of the leading institutes of engineering and management.

Placements: The placements are good. Per year, the number of students getting placed is increasing. However, the placements for civil engineering students are quite low companies for civil and don't come here, but students can apply for off-campus where they can perform well. The computer science, information technology, and electronic and telecommunication students can expect a package up to 8 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SSIPMT is good. There are separate blocks for freshers and senior students. For freshers, there is Admin block, and for seniors, there is administrative block. The hostel accommodation is also there for those who are not from Raipur and belongs from different places.The hostel is Wi-Fi enabled.

Faculty: SSIPMT have one of the best teaching faculty members all over the Chhattisgarh. The faculty members of SSIPMT are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Many of them are M.Tech holders. Every faculty has their own unique way of teaching which is very beneficial for the students here. The field knowledge is also provided, as many site visits and industrial visits are organised, where we can see the practical application.

From the aspect of studies, our college is best, but they pressurise us to keep good attendance.

Placements: The placement in our college is very good as compared to other colleges. Most of the students are quite good at aptitude and get placed. Many companies come to our campus to find eligible candidates for their job, but we have only 2 to 3 companies who come for civil engineers.

Infrastructure: Our college consists of 4 buildings along with some greenery. Two buildings consist of hostels while the other two are academic blocks. We have 1 canteen, not a big one but it is sufficient for us. We also have a pond to meet the water demand if shortened. We also have a temple of Guru Shankaracharya.

Faculty: Our college has many faculty members who teach us all the subjects. In every department we have the best faculty members to teach us to score good marks as well as to clear the competitive exams. We also have faculty members of personality development to guide us for a better personality.

Other: Our college organises many events such as annual function, Technoutsav and sports event. Also in our college, many celebrities come to promote their films.
