No, Osmania University doesn't have any provision of direct admission for UG and PG programmes. Candidates seeking admission to Osmania University clear the course-specific entrance test. Based on the entrance test scores, selected candidates are then called for a counselling round depending upon the course. Osmania University PharmD admission is based on candidates' performance in Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET), followed by a counselling round. This state-level entrance test will be held in computer-based test mode for admission to various UG-level engineering, agriculture and medical courses. 

The total fees includes various components, such as the tuition fee, admission fee, application fee, etc. The tuition fee ranges from INR 32,500 to INR 3.1 lakh. 

After qualifying for the exam one has to check the cutoff for a particular college and a particular course. After checking for the particular course one has to apply for counseling and after counseling one can pay the fees. For, clearing the exam the cutoff was 25 percent and to become eligible score the candidate must score a minimum of 50 marks for the general category. The SC/ST candidates are eligible at 20 marks out of 200 and they can apply for counseling after that and they can also secure their seats by paying the fees. The minimum score for OBC Category was 25.

Candidates must be eligible for the courses that they have chosen in Osmania University to get admissions. Candidates interested in joining the MCA course at Osmania University must appear for the TS ICET entrance exam, followed by its counselling process. Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test is a state-level exam conducted for a duration of two and a half hours in as many as 14 cities across Telangana.  

 

To begin with, one must first qualify the exam and then check for the cutoffs. The duration of the PG Diploma courses offered in the Osmania University is one year. These are short term programs that enable one to specialize and progress in career quickly. These are appropriate to both working professionals and fresh graduates.

The Osmania University PG Diploma admissions are through the CPGET entrance examination. Applicants will have to pass the exam to be fielded in the admission. The merit list is drawn out on basis of CPGET marks and seats.
