Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2025
Offered by A.V. College of Arts, Science and Commerce

It is the best college for the MCA course.
Placements: Many students get placed in our college. The college placement cell is highly active and helps students during placement time. Most of the seniors from our department get job offers in many companies, and companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc., hire many students. In my opinion, it is a good college for students' future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is top-notch. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are fully furnished. The library is present, and a total of 23 thousand books are available in the library. Separate computer labs are present in the MCA department. The canteen is properly maintained and serves the best food.
Faculty: Many teachers are deeply knowledgeable. The teaching skills of all teachers are great. All faculty members are so helpful. They always help students clear doubts. They make students industry-ready. Their teaching method makes students pass exams easily.

B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2029

The college is overall average.
Placements: Around 50-60% students get placed, and it depends on student to student. The highest package is around 20 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average package is 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Infosys, etc. This year, 20% students got an internship from my course. So basically, placements and college internships are average.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available across the campus, classrooms are digitalised and clean, the library is spacious with a large number of books, and overall, the facilities are average. Still, hostels are under construction, the quality of food in the mess and canteen is average, depending on what you eat, and prices are reasonable. There's a spacious ground on the campus and a sports room for indoor sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and qualified. They come up with a PPT and teach with the help of that PPT, which helps students understand clearly and visualise things, and it also saves time to cover extra stuff. If a student totally depends on college, it would be hard for him to get into the industry. The semester-end exams are set at a good level. If the student attends classes regularly and makes notes of them, then it's enough for the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I got into this college through counselling. The best thing about this course is that students can work on both core skills and software skills. Events and fests are very low in this college. So, once a year we'll have one big fest.

Offered by Vasavi College of Engineering - VCE

Disappointed because of some rude behaviour of a few lab assistants.
Placements: Top recruiting companies like Oracle, Infosys, ServiceNow, TCS, etc., have around 70% of students placed last year. The highest package offered was 49 LPA from ServiceNow, while the lowest package was around 3 LPA. The average package stood at about 11 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Oracle, Infosys, ServiceNow, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and several emerging product-based startups. A good number of students also secured internships, with offers from companies like TCS, Infosys, ServiceNow, Cognizant, etc. The top roles offered were mainly Software Developer, Data Analyst, Cloud Engineer, QA Engineer, and Full Stack Developer positions.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. Good equipment. Large playground with basketball, football, cricket, tennis, volleyball, and kabaddi courts. The college provides excellent infrastructure for the CSE department with well-equipped computer labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a fully updated library with digital resources. The campus also includes a large playground supporting sports like basketball, football, cricket, tennis, volleyball, and kabaddi. Hostel facilities are good, with spacious rooms, regular cleaning, 24/7 water and electricity, and decent security. The mess food is average but hygienic, and the canteen offers a variety of snacks. Medical facilities, sports amenities, and common areas are all helpful for student comfort and development.
Faculty: If you want a short line to use: Considering the placements, faculty support, and overall facilities, the course offers good value for money. Knowledgeable. The curriculum is fairly updated and relevant, making students industry-ready with practical skills. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. Overall, the pass percentage is high as long as students keep up with classes and internal assessments.
Other: We have Euphoria, which is the biggest fest that we conduct every year. We have freshers, traditional fests, teach fests, etc.

Faculty members and placement records are quite impressive.
Placements: Every year, 75 percent or more students of the college get job offers from the campus. The highest salary package here is 7 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Mahindra, and Wipro select the eligible students through interviews on campus. Students get appointed to management positions and directorships in big companies.
Infrastructure: The college campus is well-organised. The classrooms here are quite large and air-conditioned. Each classroom has a projector system. There is also a library with various books from home and abroad. There is a field for sports, a clean canteen for meals, and the hostel faculty here is also quite good. Students can access Wi-Fi for free on the campus.
Faculty: Our college faculty members are helpful and experienced, and they arrange special classes and mock tests for the students. Apart from studies, teachers also play a special role in sports and student life. They are humble but also very strict during the exams. That is why the pass rate is above 65 to 75% every year.
