Placements: Above 90% of students get jobs through placements in my college. It is one of the core reasons I chose this college. The highest package is 5 LPA, the average is 3 LPA, and the lowest is Rs. 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies include Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Amazon. Around 50% of students get internships. Financial Analyst, Tax Consultant, and Financial Manager are the top roles that one can get by pursuing my degree and course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure can definitely use some development. The library is not accessible to students, and we also do not have Wi-Fi on the campus. There are five floors in my college, but students are not allowed to use the lift. We also have no auditorium. I think the campus can be expanded further. Our college does not have hostel facilities, though there are a number of private hostels in the area.
Faculty: Teachers at ACC are amazing, helpful, and approachable. They are always willing to provide us with guidance. Our ACCA faculty is very good, and they always encourage us. They are always available when we need to solve our doubts, even after college hours. Kudos to such teachers. ACCA is highly relevant today. It is a growing professional course that can provide high-paying jobs. The difficulty level is neither hard nor easy, and the passing percentage is around 80%.
Other: ACCA is a very reputable course that can immediately boost your resume. It is globally accepted in over 180 countries if you wish to work outside India. The lessons and chapters are very practical. We are taught exactly what our future jobs will require us to do. The best thing about my course is how many doors it can open for me. It is very useful for a student with a background in finance. The exam fee for each exam (8 in total) is almost Rs. 20,000, which is a little expensive. I wish this amount were a little less.

Bad hostels but good campus life, good placements for hard work.
Placements: Almost 60 percent of students from EEE got placed in 2026. The highest package is 14 LPA, the median is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The top recruiter is Nvidia, but most students got placed in CtrlS. 15 percent of students got internships in CtrlS. The top role offered is VLSI, but IT roles are more.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided in the hostels, but the rooms are the worst. Girls' hostel has the least hygiene and the worst maintenance. Food is okay, snacks are not provided, only available at the price for afternoon and night. Labs and the library are decent. We can get books if we search, but fewer books are available in the engineering one.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and seniors, not like the ones in private colleges. They explain concepts better. The curriculum is relevant but not industry-ready because they don't teach practical projects from the beginning. Semesters are difficult. 50 percent is the pass percentage for my semester 1 results, the results are given after many months. I still haven't received my semester 2 results.
Other: I chose EEE because it has more opportunities in government jobs than other courses. I wish they give practical knowledge, like building any root or doing it instead of solving for voltage value. Very few fests happen because we don't pay much in fees to the college, so we can't expect much from their side, but 2 fiesta that do happen are satisfying only. Campus life is great because we do have so much freedom to roam around and go out if we have any work.

The college campus is too good, and faculty members are very helpful.
Placements: 27% of the total students were placed. The highest package offered by the college was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Our top recruiting companies were TCS, Cognizant, and Google. Except for 10–15% of the students in the course, all students got internships, some at local companies and others in top companies. The top role offered is Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: The college used to provide all facilities that were necessary for students. For example, each classroom had a projector for digital studies, and Wi-Fi was available. There were no extra fees charged for library services. The hostel of the college was not too good for students because of the hygiene of the mess staff. No other extra facilities were provided by the college in the hostel. Medical facilities were good, and the college was also good for sports and games. There were yearly tournaments with other colleges.
Faculty: Faculty members were very helpful and ensured that students' learning was not interrupted and ran smoothly without any obstacles. They were also well-qualified. The college did not focus too much on practical, ground-level understanding of the course, which did not make the students industry-ready. The semester exams were moderately difficult and were designed to assess students' learning. The passing percentage was 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I already had an interest in computers, software development, and machine learning. The best thing about the course is that it makes it easier to find hidden patterns in huge datasets. One thing I wished could be better was that the college should also focus on sports rather than only studying. Our college conducted a lot of events, especially during fests and festivals. The college surroundings were good. There were a lot of opportunities for new and upcoming students.

My honest review of A.V. College of Arts, Science and Commerce.
Placements: The placement and job opportunities in my college were good. Huge companies came to hire students, and they also provided good packages. However, the placement depended upon the course you opted for. There was a placement cell that invited a lot of companies and firms for job opportunities. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro, Accenture, etc. visited the campus. They offered an average package of 3–6 LPA. The highest package was around 25–33 LPA. It depended on the student's performance and skills, based on which companies offered placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure was very good. Facilities were also very good and up to the mark. Students had a good water supply and living environment. The hostel was well secured with CCTV cameras. Security outside the hostel was also well maintained. The mess food was good and hygienic as well.
Faculty: Faculty was amazing. Most faculty members had more than 10 years of experience in their respective fields of teaching, with Ph.D. and Master's degrees. The college had subject experts as per the courses. All experts taught according to their expertise and knowledge. Lecturers and lab assistants had proper knowledge. Also, all faculty members always welcomed any new approach suggested by students. The examination structure followed the semester system, where we had 4 semesters in our course. Every year, we had to give 1 end-semester exam and 2 mid-semester exams. Practical tests and a viva by an external examiner were also conducted. The course curriculum provided students with plenty of experiential exposure along with theory. The course curriculum was updated. All the desired subjects were included, as necessary for a student according to current needs. Lab courses were designed in such a way that research was promoted among the student community.

Placements: The placements of the college are very good. There is a separate placement cell in the college regarding the placement process. It is well concerned about students' placements. Many companies come to provide placements, such as TCS, Mahindra, Naukri.com, Idea, and many banks like ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, etc. The highest package till now is around 15–20 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, and case study tests for the selection of students. It also depends on the student's education and experience.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are excellent. All facilities you can think of are made available to students. Mess service is provided with different types of dishes, and the quality is also good. Hostel rooms are well maintained and cleaned once every two days.
Faculty: The college faculty members have very good experience. They understand the market trends and help us with the best possible study and teaching methodologies that inspire us to perform better in examinations. They are very friendly too and always ready to help students, clear doubts, and address difficulties they face. The semester examination system is followed. End-semester exams are of 70 marks every six months. In between, we have mid-semester exams of 20 marks each. There are also marks for assignments and attendance. The exam level is moderate, and everyone can pass. The course structure is quite amazing and covers almost all the aspects required for business. It is all about gaining thorough knowledge and learning about business, and it also helps students be well prepared. The course can be completed in two years with good teaching staff in the college.

Placements: About 70-80 percent of the students got placed. The highest package is about 12 LPA-14 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, etc. About 65-70 percent of the students got internships from my course in Tech Mahindra and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classes, and all facilities are great and worth seeking knowledge and skills. They help in developing and improving technical and practical skills as well as seeking knowledge. Good college and does encourage games, sports, and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality and helping nature help in understanding the concepts and topics very well. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The exams are very fair and easy if prepared well.
Other: This course helps in gaining practical knowledge of computers, and it's the science behind the algorithms and the working process of the course, and its practical scope.

Yes, the percentage of seats allotted to the female category at OU is 33.33%. This is done automatically depending on the gender mentioned on the application form of the candidate. There is no need for a separate certificate. The girls compete in both GEN and GIRLS categories.

No, there are no such reserved seats at Osmania University for non-local students. Approximately 85% of the seats available at Osmania University MBA course are reserved for local students. The rest of the seats are available to both types of candidates.
