Parul University overall review.

Placements: Hi, 50 percent of students are placed by now (7th semester). The lowest package is 4 LPA. The highest package is 60 LPA. Recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, and Cisco. In my course, the opportunity for roles is very high because of global certificates which made the career diversity and gave us a chance to access other roles too.

Infrastructure: There is 24/7 Wi-Fi across the campus. Specialized labs are available for every course. There are Hi-tech classrooms. Faculty-wise, libraries, redressal and grievances office for hostel. Parul University owns a hospital on the campus. There is good sports infrastructure. Parul University will make sure you won't feel any void or lack of infrastructure on their campus.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive and skillful. The syllabus is up to date. The course is meant to make the students industry-ready. Exams are not difficult but only a studious student can make it. Parul University has its own learning portals where one can study and access all study material curated professionally.

Other: I chose this course because of the global Microsoft certificates included in my course. I would suggest the course should be more specific to domain-oriented students university is full of events, fest crowd, and ample scholarships.

My college is quite decent and needs some improvements in areas such as industry visits.

Placements: Maybe 30% of the people have been placed till now. Cognizant, Capgemini, HCL, LTM, and Hexaware are major companies. Multiple roles are offered. Both IT and non-IT roles are available. The highest package can go up to 45 LPA. The lowest is around 3.5 LPA. Around 10-20% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: Every lab is good and has proper Wi-Fi. Labs, classrooms, and the library are quite decent and good compared to other universities. Coming to the hostel, the major drawbacks are the food and washrooms. Every day and every month, the same taste and food routine are followed.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good. It completely depends on the students because multiple people with multiple languages are present, so it is up to us to learn well. However, more industry exposure is needed. The difficulty level is moderate to hard. The pass percentage is around 80%. The papers are easy to moderate.

Other: I chose this course because the future is completely ruled by AI. If we can learn to use AI to make our work easier, that is the reason I chose this course. The course can be improved by more industry exposure and working with live projects so that every student gets real-world hands-on experience. Every activity gives a lot of joy and memories.

Good college with good placement opportunities.

Placements: Placements are quite good. Many companies are visiting the campus and I was recently placed in Spinny with a package of 5 LPA. Students who prepare well have good opportunities. Roles offered in my course are AI/ML engineer intern, AI engineer, and testing. As of now, 30 percent of students have been placed in companies like Jocata, Spinny, Product Squad, and Maeven Technologies.

Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure is good. Facilities like good labs, classrooms, Wi-Fi, and a library are provided. The hostel quality is very good. The only problem many students face is regarding food it is not worth paying lakhs for the hostel because they are not serving non-vegetarian food either. Medical facilities are excellent. Sports and games are also very encouraging.

Faculty: Most lecturers are not very experienced, although good. The curriculum is also good. Teaching quality is above average. I feel semester exams are very difficult for me. The course curriculum is very relevant and it makes students job-ready. The pass percentage is 96 percent, students need to study on their own then only they will get placed.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it. Later, I realized I am also interested in the business side. Overall, I feel the college provides good facilities and opportunities. Students can get good value if they use the opportunities.

Super college life and on campus you can experience a peaceful environment wherever you go.

Placements: The average package is 5 Lacs and they are bringing good roles. Selection is happening in good numbers, and every day a minimum number of students are getting selected. They are focusing on every role in every sector and bringing placements.

Infrastructure: Classroom infrastructure can be improved and some issues are faced with the network, like during lab times. Some issues with the classrooms are major problems, and we need to adjust somehow. Classrooms can be changed, like benches, which are not very comfortable.

Faculty: Faculty is so friendly and helpful for students. The examination process is so good and the curriculum is happening in a good way. The curriculum is so good that everything is included in the curriculum, and we will get a proper schedule about the classes and labs.

Placements: In B.Tech CSE at Parul University around 80 percent of students get placed according to student-reported placement data. The average package is around 4 LPA-6 LPA while the highest package has reached 60 LPA. The lowest package generally starts around 3 LPA-4 LPA depending on the company and role. Some of the top recruiting companies include Microsoft, TCS, Deloitte, Capgemini, LTI Mindtree, Bank of America, and Hexaware. Internship opportunities are also available in companies like Microsoft, ADP and Deloitte. The common roles offered to CSE students are Software Developer, Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Cloud Engineer, Cybersecurity Analyst, and AI/ML Engineer.

Parul University has a lively campus with regular fests and events. Crowd is diverse and students can participate in sports and extracurricular activities. Connectivity is good. Scholarships are available for eligible students. The course is good and campus life is enjoyable.

Good for the amount of money students are paying here.

Placements: The college placements are average, with packages ranging from 4–6 LPA. There are also companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, etc., which visit our campus for placements. Students are provided with placement training for at least 1 semester so they can get high-paying jobs.

Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is good, and the hostels are good for living. The only drawback is the food for people who don't belong to Gujarat state. Students have to adjust to the taste of the food. Other than the food, the hostels are good with a positive vibe.

Faculty: The examination schedule is strict. Faculty work hard to improve the teaching. The college follows strict rules and regulations for examinations. The curriculum has a proper timetable that everyone has to follow. There are examinations twice in the semester.

Other: It's a value-for-money campus, but the only drawback is the student crowd.

Good in extra-certification programs.

Placements: 60 percent of students got placed. Recruiting companies are TCS and Deloitte. Nearly 70 percent of students got internships. It is a very good college, and I will recommend it to all people. We have nearly 150 placements, and almost every person is attending the interviews to get placed in good packages.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but the maintenance of bathrooms is bad. Wi-Fi problems occur on Sunday, and we are unable to complain about it because it is Sunday and no one is taking care of it. The food is very less spicy, and I am unable to eat it to fill my stomach.

Faculty: Faculty is worthy. We are having so many extra activities also in college, and we are having GCF global certification. I am so excited to be in the programs, and it is useful during placement time to be more preferred to get placed in the interviews.

Other: I chose this course because I am very interested in technology.

All good if you have potential.

Placements: It is good, and if you have some spark, then it is the right place and time. However, the placement team at university is not very cooperative. That is a major area that needs improvement. The remaining experience is okay. The placement team is expected to guide and support students throughout the placement process. But many students feel that the support provided is not sufficient. Communication about placements is often unclear. Proper guidance for interviews is lacking.

Infrastructure: Hostel management and staff are supportive. They provide a safe and comfortable environment for students. If students face any problem, they can easily get it resolved. The security department provides full support and is available 24/7. So students can reach out at any time, regardless of the day or time.

Faculty: Difficulties are okay, but some teachers take revenge on students to satisfy their ego. They show that they can reduce marks and scold students in class. If you misbehave, they can make your score low, or something like that. Otherwise, some teachers are very good and supportive, and the exams are good.

Other: All is good. The major work is on the placement team, which is not supportive, especially towards women. Faculty members are the most important part, and students should be guided properly. They try to hide their mistakes, and they do not provide proper support.
