Ph.D. in Phytopharmacy and Phytomedicine 

at Parul University, Vadodara

Candidate must satisfy any one of the following eligibility criteria:
  
Candidates who have completed:  
(a) A 1-year/ 2-semester master's degree programme after a 4-year/ 8- semester bachelor’s degree programme or a 2-year/ 4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree in the subject concerned, with at least mentioned marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade are eligible to apply.
  
(b) A candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/ 8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. Candidates having postgraduate diploma / certificate awarded by a foreign degree / diploma/ certificate awarded by a foreign university / institute should in their own interest, obtain and submit the equivalent of their diploma / degree / certificate with Master's degree of a recognized Indian University from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. In case of candidates holding a qualifying degree from a foreign university, registration for PhD will be confirmed after determination of equivalence by Parul University. For Ph.D. in interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary subjects, Master's degree or equivalent in any subject with 55% marks and two years of experience in the area of interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary research in which admission is being sought. The qualifying degree should be recognized by the concerned Apex Bodies or any other approved and recognized Scientific Bodies of the Government of India and approved by the Academic Council / Board of Management/ Governing Body of the University for Provisional Registration for the PhD Degree. Candidates who have completed their master degree in Open and Distance learning programme may be eligible as per UGC directions given from time to time.
  
  
NOTE:  
1.A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to differently-abled, economically weaker section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time. Mentioned marks of OBC is for candidate bleongs to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer).

  
2. The candidate shall have passed BAMS and MD/ MS (Ayurved) from an institution recognized by National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), New Delhi and the above said degree awarded must have been included in degree recognized list notified by NCISM, New Delhi.
