Admission is through Research Entrance Test (Ret) 2021 And Direct Admission (RET- Exempted) ( NET /JRF qualified candidates are exempted from RET).

(a) Qualifying Examination: Master’s degree in Business Management (M.B.M.), Management Studies/ Management Sciences (M.M.S.), Business Administration (M.B.A.), International Business Administration (M.I.B.A.), International Business (M.I.B.), M.B.A. (Agri-Business) or two year PGP/PGDM declared equivalent to Master’s Degree in Management by AIU/accredited by AICTE/UGC or First class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost and Works Accountant/Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies.

(b) Qualifying Marks: At least 60% in the aggregate or equivalent grade point average in the qualifying examination.

Institute of Management Studies, BHU offers various PG and certificate programs such as MBA, MBA IB, MBA AB and PGDBA. The admission to the courses are entrance based. The admissions to MBA and MBA IB programs is offered on the based on the score of CAT (50% weightage), academic records (20% weightage) and GDPI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview with 30% weightage).
