Yes, the students seeking admission have to appear for PUCET. The entrance exam is conducted in offline mode i.e. pen and paper test. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria before applying for admission for Patna University Entrance Exam. COMPUTER APPLICATION COURSE:
(1) To enroll in the B.Sc. Computer Application Course, a student must have completed Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a grade of at least a 2.
(2) Passing the I.A., I.Sc., or I.Com exam (a+2 level exam) is a requirement for enrollment in the BA Computer Application Course.
In order to be eligible for admission to this vocational course, a student must meet the following requirements: (a) pass the intermediate exam of the board, university, established or incorporated by law; (b) complete a 12-year course of the Central or State Board; (c) complete the 10+2 System or an equivalent recognised by Patna University; and (d) receive at least 55% of the possible points in aggregate for general applicants or other categories of applicants; candidates from SC, ST, and BC must receive 45% of the total.
