One of the most important aspects of any entrance exam is the preparation part. Numerous students appear for the Patna University Entrance Exam and only few get admission to the established University. Students get admission to the University on the basis of the marks secured in the entrance exam. The Patna University offers students admission to various courses and programmes which range from English to Urdu to MSc Geology to PG Diploma in Public Administration. One needs to have the right preparation method and strategy before getting down to study for the exams. There is no point in studying the entire syllabus at the last moment and expect to clear the entrance exam. One needs to have a time schedule, know the details about the exam, give mock tests, solve sample papers and previous years' question papers and purchase prep books to help one learn and understand more about the course applied for. For eg. if you have applied for BSc Mathematics, one needs time to calculate, think a lot, mentally do calculations. It takes practise to perfect the calculation and pen down the right solution and method. One needs to be focused, committed and dedicated.

One needs to have all the answers ready way before the main day.

Prep Tips for Patna University Entrance Exam

Make a Time Table: One should commence their preparation methods by creating a time table. Plan out how much syllabus you can cover on an hourly, daily, weekly and monthly basis. Also take out time to go through prep books, solve sample papers and previous years question papers. A time table is rock solid and one can actually finish the syllabus in time as well. Do not leave the preparation for the last week before the exam, it will be a headache.

Purchase Prep Books: One should buy recommended prep books for the course applied for. Through prep books, one can understand the syllabus better, can make pointers and solve the questions which are asked in the book. There is no need to purchase many prep books, buy a few but from publishers and authors who are recognised and recommended.

Solve Sample Papers and Question Papers: The best way one can test their abilities and learn about one's strengths and weaknesses is by solving sample papers. Also, the best way to know the exam pattern, marking scheme and syllabus is by solving previous years' question papers. One gets to know what type of questions are asked, what is the weightage and distribution of marks and what can be expected.

Revise: One should also revise as much as they can after finishing a unit or a subject. Revision is key. Write down pointers and make notes which can help you remember better.

Rest: Other than the preparation, one should also rest. Hard work is necessary, but proper rest is also required. One cannot study with a tired mind and body. There is as much information a mind can take. One needs to be fresh and energised to study properly.
