PUMDET 2025 Counselling - The exam body, WBJEEB, will conduct the PUMDET 2025 counselling process once the results are declared. PUMDET Counselling 2025 is expected to be conducted in late August and September 2025. During the PUMDET counselling process, document verification takes place for the allotment of seats at Presidency University. Candidates must produce their admit cards, rank cards and other relevant documents for the same. The PUMDET counselling process is primarily based on the General Merit Ranks (GMR) reflected on the examinees' rank cards. However, if an applicant is found ineligible based on the document verification, the candidature will be cancelled despite holding a PUMDET rank card. PUMDET Counselling 2025 - Things to Keep in Mind
Some points that candidates must keep in mind during PUMDET 2025 counselling are mentioned below.
- Credentials of candidates eligible for counselling and admission are verified at the counselling Center as per the stipulated time and date.
- All candidates must appear for counselling /seat allotment and admission with all original documents as specified irrespective of PU quota or non-PU quota.
- The PU quota will be applicable for those students successfully qualifying for their final BA/BSc honours degree through regular examination of the Presidency University in 2025, strictly on a merit basis.
- Admission through non-PU quota will be based on the rank obtained in PUMDET 2025.
- If there is a vacancy of seats from the PU quota, such seats will be converted to a non-PU quota.
- Since the counselling and admission process is sequential according to rank, the candidate has to appear for counselling on the specified date and time only. It is not possible to allow any different date or time for any candidate.
- The candidate has to appear himself/ herself. No other person is allowed to appear for counselling and admission on behalf of the candidate.
