The university offers scholarships to deserving and meritorious students. Periyar Maniammai University offers scholarships as financial assistance to meritorious students. Scholarship are disbursed to students as per the following criteria:
- Based on their marks scored in Class 12 and in JEE or equivalent or PMIST Entrance Test for BTech programmes (Up to INR 1.8 lakh).
- For the BCom, BA, BBA, B.Ed and BSc programmes, the scholarship will be based on Class 12 marks and the PMIST Entrance Test (Up to INR 15,000).
- The sanctioned scholarship will be offered to students throughout the programme subject to the conditions that they have a minimum of 80% attendance in the previous academic year.
