Periyar Maniammai University BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
PMIST BTech course is an undergraduate level course that has a duration between three-four years. BTech programmes at PMIST is offered in several specialisations which include BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Biotechnology and several others.
The duration of regular BTech programmes is four years. The university also allows lateral entry to its BTech programmes. The duration of lateral entry programmes is three years.
BTech admission at PMIST is decided based on both merit and entrance exam scores. PMIST accepts the scores obtained in either one of Uni-GAUGE, JEE or TNEA. To be eligible to apply, candidates must clear Class 12 board exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or Technical Vocational Subject.
