Periyar Maniammai University (PMU) offers five BCom courses in the full-time mode. The duration of these courses is 3 years. PMU BCom courses are BCom with Computer Application, BCom in Professional Accounting, BCom in Corporate Secretaryship, BCom (Hons) and BCom. Admission to these courses is based on merit in Class 12 and the availability of seats for the chosen specialisation.
To be eligible for BCom at PMU, candidates must have passed Diploma/Class 12 from a recognised board. For BCom (Hons) at PMU, a candidate must have passed Class 12 with Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Accountancy as one of the subjects.
