Scholarships categories-
Scholarships for each candidate will be decided based on the marks scored in 12th standard and in JEE or equivalent or PMIST Entrance Test for B.Tech programmes (Up to Rs.2,50,00,000)
For the B.Com, BA, BBA, B.Ed, and B.Sc. programmes, the scholarship amount will be based on the marks scored in the 12th standard and the PMIST Entrance Test (Up to INR 15,000)
The sanctioned scholarship will be given throughout the programme subject to the conditions that the student should have an all pass and a minimum of 80% attendance in the previous academic year
The decision of the management on the scholarship will be final

PMU BTech fees comprise multiple components, such as tuition fee, security deposit, hostel fee, admin fee, etc. Some of these components are one-time chargeable. The amount of security deposit is refundable after the completition of the course. Other fee components could be refundable, non-refundable, to be paid semester-wise or annually. The tuition see for BTech at Periyar Maniammai University ranges between INR 1.1 Lacs - INR 4.8 Lakh. The one-time fee for the course ranges between INR 5,000 - INR 10,000. Periyar Maniammai University offers scholarships as financial assistance to meritorious students. Scholarship are disbursed to students as per the following criteria:
- Based on their marks scored in Class 12 and in JEE or equivalent or PMIST Entrance Test for BTech programmes (Up to INR 1.8 lakh).
- For the BCom, BA, BBA, B.Ed and BSc programmes, the scholarship will be based on Class 12 marks and the PMIST Entrance Test (Up to INR 15,000).
- The sanctioned scholarship will be offered to students throughout the programme subject to the conditions that they have a minimum of 80% attendance in the previous academic year.
The fees is different for different courses B.Tech courses 1lakh 40000 per year and security money at the time of admission is 10000 rs.
For MBA courses the fees is 2 Lacs per year and security. Money is 20000 .
For other courses such as bsc in pcm or pcb is 50000 per year.
For B.Sc in agriculture is around 80000 per year and security fees is 10000 rs.
For barchar courses it is around 1 Lacs 90000 per year .
For animation courses the Diploma courses in animation fees is around 1lakh 20000 per year.
For biotech courses B.Sc biotechnology or other life Science course the fees is around 90000 per year.
