If you receive an allotment in Round 1 of PU CET (UG) counselling process, you must report to allotted department on campus during the prescribed dates and bring all the important documents. You will also need to pay the admission and departmental fees immediately. 

To apply for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Pondicherry University, you should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Admissions are based on PG-CUET scores, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The MBA programme offers dual specializations in areas like Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and Operations & Systems, with a focus on analytics, skills, and strategy. The curriculum includes foundation courses, core functional areas of management, and application-oriented elective courses. The university also provides opportunities for industrial visits, management meets, and seminars, and has a strong alumni network.

PU CET (UG) 2026 Physical counseling will be open mainly to students who did not get a seat in the online rounds or to fill reserved seats still vacant. In practice (as in previous years), the first day (s) may focus on General category candidates without seats, and subsequent days on remaining reserved category candidates. You attend in person at the designated venue (Panjab University, Chandigarh) with your documents and payment. The counselors will re-check your rank and choices, and offer available seats department by department. Once seats are offered, you must confirm and pay immediately. 

To get admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at Pondicherry University, you will need the following documents:1. Bachelor's degree certificate2. If, after having paid the fees a candidate desires to leave the College, he/she shall be refunded all the fees and deposits except Registration, Matriculation, Recognition & University Development Fund provided his/her application for withdrawal is received by the College within 45 days after the starting of the semester. Application for withdrawal received after 45 days from the starting of the semester would entitle a student for the refund of security deposit / caution money only.

The rules specify a special provision: Indian National Math Olympiad (INMO) awardees can join the B.Sc (Hons.) Mathematics programme without appearing in the PU CET (UG) entrance test. These INMO-qualified students get admission directly, filling additional seats above the normal seat matrix. This means if you have an INMO medal, you are eligible for Math (Hons) directly under this policy.

The PU CET (UG) Counselling process is expected to start in the second week of June 2026. Students need to check the official website. There will be multiple rounds in the counselling process.Candidates are required to bring the Counselling Form on the day of PU CET (UG) Physical Counselling.
