PhD application fee for the General category students is INR 1,000. For SC and ST students, the application fee is INR 500. Students should pay the application fee online while registering for the course. Additionally, PH and transgender students are exempted from paying the application fee. SC and ST category students are required to submit a relevant certificate and PH & transgender candidates are required to submit a relevant certificate from a Govt. The application fee of MCA for all category candidates is INR 300. Students can pay the application fee online while registering for the course. Yes, apart from the full-time programmes, the University offers distance education programmes in the field of Management, Commerce, Arts, Business Administration and more. Admission to all these programmes is done on the basis of merit.BBA and BCom are offered at the UG level. The course duration of both programmes is three years. Candidates who have done Class 12 can apply for these programmes. The final selection of students is based on the HSC scores.Apart from the UG programmes, the University offers three PG programmes under distance education. Yes, Pondicherry University offers a three-year MCA programme spread over six semesters. The course is available at the Department of Computer Science of the Puducherry campus and at the Department of Computer Science of the Karaikal campus of Pondicherry University. A total of 125 seats are available combined at both campuses out of which 75 are available at the Puducherry campus while the remaining 50 are offered at the Karaikal campus.
