AKTU Admission Through CUET:  Admission to various undergraduate programmes at Dr A. P. J Abdul Kalam Technical University is done through entrance tests such as CUET and other entrance exams at the UG level. The admissions will begin in August 2025, tentatively. Students who appear for the CUET 2025 exam will be allowed to take part in the AKTU counselling. Candidates need to appear for the CUET exam and obtain the CUET passing marks in order to seek admission at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. The CUET application form was released on March 1, 2025, and the last date to register for the exam is March 22, 2025. CUET 2025 will be conducted from May 8, 2025, to June 1, 2025. Courses Offered at AKTU Through CUET

AKTU offers multiple courses for admission after Class 12. The courses offered by AKTU for admission through CUET 2025 are mentioned below:

Q:   Can I opt for several subjects in section II of CUET to apply for various courses?
A:

Yes, an CUET applicant can opt for one or more combinations of the following:

  • Section I: Language Test
  • Section II: Domain subject test
  • Section III: General Aptitude Test

Candidates will be able to opt up to a maximum of five subjects in order to apply to different applicable courses that require these subjects for being eligible for admissions.

Q:   When can I apply for the CUET exam?
A:

National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates desirous of taking admission to University/college through CUET must fill the application form before the deadline. On the release of the CUET notification important dates for CUET 2026 will be announced. CUET 2025 application process will be in online mode. Candidates will be required to fill the application form, upload documents and pay the application fee in online mode only. CUET is a gateway to more tahn 250 universities across India for its UG courses.

Q:   How do I select the domain subjects for CUET UG?
A:

Before selecting the test or domain subjects, candidates are advised to visit the official website of university/organaisation they wish to apply for. Candidates must check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:

  • Section I - 13 Languages
  • Section II - 23 Domain Specific Subjects
  • Section III - General Test

There are various other postgraduate courses offered by AKTU. Candidates are required to appear for CUET PG for admission to PG courses.

AKTU Admission Through CUET 2025: Admission Process

AKTU offers admissions after Class 12 based on CUET exam scores. Candidates who took the CUET 2025 exam can apply for admission and participate in the AKTU counselling through CUET. Candidates need to go through the below-mentioned chronology of events as per the AKTU admission process through CUET 2025:

  • Fill out the CUET application form
  • Download the CUET admit card
  • Appear for the CUET 2025 exam
  • Check & download CUET scorecard
  • Fill AKTU admission form
  • Check the AKTU merit list prepared based on CUET marks
  • Download the AKTU admission offer and pay the admission fee

AKTU Admission Through CUET 2025: Application Process

To apply for the AKTU admissions through CUET, candidates need to follow the below-mentioned application process:

  • Visit the official website of AKTU
  • Click on the ‘Admission’ tab on the homepage
  • Select the desired course and register on the admission portal using the required details
  • Upload the scanned copies of the photographs of the candidates, signatures, marksheets, certificates, etc.
  • Pay the application fee online of INR 1000 using a credit card, debit card, internet banking, UPI, etc.
  • Submit the application form and take a printout of the same

Q:   What is programme specific eligibility criteria in CUET?
A:

For admission to the desirous University/Institution, the candidates must appear in CUET 2026 in the Languages and Domain Specific subjects as per the Program-Specific Eligibility for which s (he) is desirous to take admission. For instance, if a candidate wishes to apply for B.Com (Hons.) programe in Delhi University he/she will be required to make the subject combination as :

Combination I: Any one Language from List A + Mathematics/Applied Mathematics + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1
OR
Combination II: Any one Language from List A + Accountancy/Book Keeping + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1

Candidates are advised to check CUET programme-specific eligibility criteria before filling the application form, failing which they will not qualify for further admission process. 

Q:   How many subjects can I choose for the CUET exam?
A:

From CUET UG 2026 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th. 

Q:   If am appearing for multiple slots, will my CUET exam centre remain same for all exams?
A:

Candidates may be allotted different CUET 2026 exam centres for different dates and slots. However, the city would most likely be the same. Candidates must check the exam centre details carefully in the admit card and appear in the correct CUET centre. Candidates will be issued the CUET intimation slip three to four days prior to the day of examination. On release of the CUET intimation slip, candidates can know the exam centre allotted and can make the preparations for travel accordingly.

Candidates must note that different admit card and intimation slip will be issued for each exam. Candidates cannot re-use the admit card of previous slot or session.

You can't do BBA from CUET with PCB in 12 th as CUET requires the same subjects as in 12th for BBA you need math's English and general test

No, Bapuji Academy of Management & Research (BAMR) is not under CUET. The academy accepts the scores of certain other entrance exams such as, MAT/PGCET/KMAT. Candidates who have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category) can apply for admission.

No, Terna Global Business School is not under CUET. Rather the college accepts scores of various other entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, MAH-CET, etc. Candidates are not required to appear for the CUET exam rather they must appear for any of these exams.

No, Chandola Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital is not under CUET. Instead the college accepts the scores of the UPMT exam for admission to the BHMS course. This is the Uttaranchal Pre-Medical Test and is conducted by the State Government of Uttarakhand at different centres.
