AISECT, the best university of Bhopal.
Placements: AISECT University, Bhopal provides good placement to the students who are really deserving and to those who fulfil the criteria of placement cell. As we all know that today the engineering sector is producing more and more engineers, so the job ratios are down from few years. So, to get placed in a good company, you have to score well in your academics. Every year, the placements start in the month of April and May in our college. Last year, the college placement was approximately 90%. 10% of the people left due to their own issues or not satisfying the eligibility criteria to get placed in a company. The average package in mechanical branch for a job is around 2 lacs per annum. Many companies visited the campus for selection like Nokia, Mahindra, etc.
Infrastructure: AISECT University, Bhopal has a huge campus, and the infrastructure of the college is too good. The college has separate buildings for different branches. Cochin College has 4 buildings for the hostel. The college also has a gym building and a mess. You will find a college canteen just behind the mechanical section. The college has a huge workshop where we do practicals. The whole college campus is a Wi-Fi enabled campus because it also provides the sports facility every year. The sports and cultural meet happen to improvise the talent of the students so that they can show their talent with their studies.
Faculty: I must say that the faculty of the AISECT University, Bhopal are so friendly, it's like you are studying in your own home. They are really well qualified, and they are always there to support us with any kind of help related to our studies, and sometimes our personal issues also. AISECT University, Bhopal is a university, so it has a vibrant amount of courses offered like Polytechnic, BE, M.Tech, management, physical education, agriculture, bachelor in computer application, master in computer application and much more. Every year, the college took students for industry tour so that students can get the knowledge about how a company or industry works.
Other: Every year, the college organised the cultural fest and the sports meet to groom the hidden talents of the students. The college also provides scholarships for those students who have a national level certificate in different games or cultural activities and for those who are from poor background.

I am not much satisfied with the placements. The rest is impressive with very good faculty.
Placements: Placements are not satisfactory as per a personal experience from the mechanical engineering field. Indeed, other branches except for civil engineering get much more placements which eventually lead us not to choose our core branch campus to get hired. Our seniors from mechanical were victims too. I don't know the exact figures related to the placement percentage, but it may be in between 20%-35% which includes a minimum package of 1.2 lakhs/annum and the highest being 1.8 lakhs/annum. Very few i.e. 8 or 10 good companies visited the campus from which most of them are for IT, CS, EX-EC and only 3 or 4 for ME and CE during my whole semester. Internships were at-least 99% and the highest stipend was 2500/month in BHEL, Bhopal. I don't know about the lowest stipend.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite impressive, in terms of library, hostels, play ground, mess, auditorium, canteen, labs, classrooms, teaching atmosphere and there are several courses such as computer classes, English classes and personality improvements classes. In short, all such types of classes are currently running which lacks in students personality and to improve them. There are several blocks for several fields such technical block and non-technical block so as to maintain discipline on the campus. I was not a part of the hostel but my friends who from the beginning till the end stayed in hostel briefed me about the improvements in food and other miscellaneous facilities.
Faculty: The faculty team is very helpful and talented. In fact, many are masters in their respective fields. We can call them anytime for our doubts and trust me, with these faculty members, we don't need any extra tuitions. We AISECTians received industrial exposure. Teachers also motivate us to catch several extracurricular activities besides studies too because they believe that every student has got different types of mentality so, in order to teach them smartly and effectively, they motivate us to participate such as NSS, NCC, inter-college tech fest, cricket tournaments, LAN gaming and much more like this.
Other: A good college for studies but need some extra gentle push towards campus selections which can only be done by our HR heads. AISECT University has a very good team of faculty members who are very talented and can help you out in every difficult situation. We also got some interesting self-improvement courses and programmes because of which we can turn ourselves from a boss to a smart leader.
