RNTU Bhopal offers BTech in 7 specialisations for 4 years in full-time mode. The University offers an annual intake of 264 students for all the specialisations combined. Admission to RNTU Bhopal is based on the applicants' performance in the AISECT Joint of Universities Entrance Exam (AJEE). Further, applicants must fulfil the Rabindranath Tagore University BE eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria require applicants to have passed Class 12 from a recognised board, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum aggregate of 45% ( 40% in case of SC/ST candidates). The fees structure of BTech covers a total tuition fees ranging from INR 1.8 Lacs to INR 2.2 Lakh.

Rabindranath Tagore University offers scholarships of up to 40% through its Shiksha Mitra Scholarship Scheme. Students pursuing BCom, BBA, BCA, BA LLB, BA, BAJMC, B.E (except CSE), or BSC (except Nursing & Agriculture) at RNTU Bhopal can avail of these scholarships. The rate of scholarship increases with the applicants' marks in the qualifying exam, as presented in the table below:
