My college Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering is one of the best colleges.

Placements: In 2024-25, the percentage of students placed in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering is 93%. The total placed students are 852%. The highest package is 11.88 LPA, while the average package is from 3 to 6.5 LPA, and the lowest package is from 3 to 4 LPA. Infrastructure: In Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE), Nagpur, we offer fully enabled Wi-Fi all over the campus with 1.5 Gbps internet. The labs are fully furnished with computer and electronic equipment (like CRO, Power supply, etc.). The classrooms are generally clean, large, with fans and lights. In summer, coolers are provided in each classroom. The library contains 30,000+ books, including the IEEE digital library. The food in the canteen is average, and medical facilities are provided by the college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and many teachers have Ph.D. degrees in the Electronic and Telecommunication department. The curriculum is also changed every 2-3 years. Many workshops are also conducted by my branch. The exam is quite tough; you must get a minimum of 6.5 CGPA or above.

Other: The Electronics and Telecommunication department in YCCE is very good. Events like Yash are held on campus; they're very unique and interesting. The department events are also excellent. Scholarships are also available in YCCE.

Excellent campus with trees.

Placements: The top recruiting companies include Mahindra and Quick Heal. Around 50 percent of students from the senior batch secured internships in companies such as Mahindra and Quick Heal. The highest package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest is 2 LPA, with an average package of around 6–8 LPA. Top roles offered include positions such as technician and network architect.

Infrastructure: The Computer Science lab has very good lighting, which doesn't create any pressure on students' eyes. Our college has planted so many trees on the campus for teaching purposes, but trees enhance the look of the campus, which is a plus point, and Wi-Fi has longevity.

Faculty: The teaching quality of many teachers is excellent, but some other teachers should improve their teaching skills. Exams are quite difficult, but if you study, you're going to crack it and the passing percentage 40%. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does make student industry ready.

Other: Scholarships are provided by government to the college, which is a plus point. The teaching techniques could be better. I chose Computer Science because I wanted to explore this field, and the best thing is that I did explore a little bit.

The honest review of my college.

Placements: In the year 2025, I only see two placement drives in my college that will be conducted by the training and placement department, and only a few people are getting placed. The college is good, but it can improve itself in areas like the labs and teachers' experience.

Infrastructure: There are no hostels in my college, Jhulelal Institute of Technology, and the courses are also not very useful for B.Tech students, like NPTEL courses, etc. These aren't necessary for B.Tech or B.E. students. They should provide AI or ML-related courses.

Faculty: They should improve the labs in the department, improve the faculty, and give students more exposure to the industry. Overall, the exams are very tough, and the level of strictness is very high, and the internal practical exam is also difficult.

Other: I think my college should provide hostel and bus facilities. It has old facilities, but this is only for the first year because it becomes expensive for the second and third years.

Placements: Nearly 40-50% of students get placed in our college. The highest package was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 3.25 LPA. The top recruiting company is Ernst and Young. Our placement cell offers various internships that depend on students who grab them. The top role in my course is the manager of a firm.

Infrastructure: Our college has a library, and Wi-Fi is also provided there. Every classroom has an e-class board, which makes learning easy. A hostel is also available in our college based on merit. The college has a canteen that serves decent-quality food with multiple food options. Other than that, there is also a mess in our college for lunch.

Faculty: The teachers are extremely helpful and kind, and they are also well-qualified. All of them have a professional degree. Our college is autonomous, so they decide their own curriculum, which is up to the market requirements. The semester exams are quite moderate and have a good difficulty level. The passing percentage is usually 90%.

Other: I chose this course because I am doing various other things, and this course doesn't demand much time. I wish to improve its importance and make it more worthy than just a mere degree. The college has all its fests in even semesters. Some clubs organise the events, and students take an active participation in events like the annual fest and Model United Nations, which are conducted to shape the future.

Placements: In terms of placements, our college is not that good. Low companies come to our college. The package offered is very low. Mostly, students get off-campus placements. It is not that good for on-campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average in my course. The hostel is also average, but there are not many facilities. The hostel food is good, and they give fresh food. The college has its own stationery shop, so we can get any stationery items from the college. The canteen is also good.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. Some faculty members have more than 20 years of experience. They teach very well, but some faculty members are very bad. They don't know how to teach. They take 3 exams every 6 months, i.e., CAE 1 and CAE 2, and then end-semester exams, and it repeats till 8 semesters. The college needs to improve and recruit good faculty members for better study.

Other: The college is average. It has a good campus life, but it needs more improvement. Fests organised are average.

Infrastructure: The hostel is well-maintained, clean, and has good infrastructure. There is a single bed for every student. There are 2-3 beds per room. They have a common study area. The in-time is 8:00 PM. There are wardens and guards for safety. The hostel is inside the campus, so you can enjoy your beautiful evening inside the beautiful campus.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and humble. They avoid mistakes and focus on helping students. They understand students' grasping ability and try to teach them in such a manner that really helps them. Exams are tough, but as the course covers everything that a finance individual needs to be industry-ready, it's a plus point.

Other: The crowd is sophisticated and events are organised by college like Asthitva and Troika. Extra-curricular activities include a nature club, RSS, and college sports teams for football, basketball, and cricket. The campus is really beautiful, it gives you old aesthetic vibes. The course I took was because of a lack of knowledge, I should have chosen BCA or some other course for more opportunities.
