Q:   Which courses can I do after a D.Ed.? Should I do a BSc or B.Ed?
A:

The best choice depends on your career aspirations:

·       If you want to become a teacher: Opt for a B.Ed. It's the mandatory qualification for teaching in most schools.

·       If you want to pursue a career in research or a science-related field: A BSc would be more suitable. It provides a strong foundation for further studies and specialised careers.

·       If you're unsure: Consider your interests and skills. Do you enjoy teaching and interacting with students? Or are you more drawn to scientific exploration and research?

Additional options:

·       M.Ed.: If you already have a B.Ed., you can pursue a Master of Education for career advancement or specialisation in a particular teaching area.

·       Diploma courses: Various specialised Diploma courses in education or related fields can enhance your skills and knowledge.

Not a good experience. Over expensive and not worth it.
Placements: No one from my batch was given any placement. So technically, doing the course will not get you employed. All the internships that are relevant to the field can be done by you, but almost all of them are unpaid (with some even requiring you to pay, eg, Claws makes you pay Rs. 5,000 for an internship). Apart from this, relating to any other city and the living expenses, it will ruin you financially. Even after all this, there is no guarantee of any kind of decent placement. From my batch, people went on internships, but none got placed.
Infrastructure: University infrastructure is pretty good with all amenities (AC classrooms, lifts, washing machines, etc.). Moreover, cleanliness is maintained all the time. With regards to hostel, there are no ACs there as of now, and it gets extremely humid during summer. But that can be managed by buying a cooler. Mess is actually impressive, with decent food quality. Overall, the facilities are satisfactory for a student.
Faculty: There are different departments in the university with different areas of study. Some of the departments are doing a good job and have excellent faculty members. As far as my department is concerned, the faculty is not at all impressive. They lack not just subject knowledge but professionalism as a whole. Most of them have ego issues, take pleasure in tormenting students, are not at all supportive of their students, and hold personal grudges. They even threaten to make students suffer academically, and are so deep into power politics. Worst part is that students have no authority to approach against them. Some of the courses have an impressive curriculum and will get you somewhere in the industry. However, other courses, particularly non-technical, theory-based ones, are not an advantage unless one aspires to be in academia or has other plans.
Other: Exciting events keep happening. Scholarships are also available, and students have plenty of extracurricular activities to indulge themselves in. But all that comes at a great financial cost, even for simple courses of Arts students pay in Lacs (with no placements), and other costs also add up. So, enroll while taking your financial situation in mind (or land in debt).

About university of national importance.
Placements: The highest package offered in our course is 8 LPA. 100% internships are available, not specifically in companies but in Think tank or in our university. Recruiting companies in our college are Tata, AIG Insurance, TCS, and Vedanta. Top role offered in our university is security officer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my university is top-notch. Library functions 24 hours. In the mess, the seating capacity at one time is 500 students. Quality of food is good. Other than the mess, we have 3 different cafes inside the campus. Medical center also works 24 hours. Authorities of our university provide a good hostel as well as good surroundings.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. All of them are NEET qualified and have done Ph.D. They use different techniques to teach us. The course is relevant, if we see the current situation of the world. It makes students industry-ready. The end-semester exams are so easy to score good CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I had a keen interest in studying how our National Security functions. Field trip is the best thing about our course.

B.Tech. in Computer Science (Cyber Security) - Batch of 2028

A good and valuable university that gives more opportunities and exposure.
Placements: Around 90 percent of students got placed from my batch. The highest package is 42 LPA while the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package offered is around 8 LPA. The top recruiters include PwC, EY, TCS and Meta, along with other reputed firms. About 85 percent of students also got internships in companies like PwC, TCS and Meta, which give good industry exposure. The top roles offered are related to Cybersecurity, Consulting and IT services making the course highly career-oriented.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is decent with facilities such as Wi-Fi-enabled labs, spacious classrooms and a good library area that supports learning. The hostel facilities are average, and while the quality of mess food is not exceptional, it is manageable. Apart from that, students also get access to sports, games, medical facilities, and a canteen. Overall, the infrastructure is functional but could be improved in terms of hostel and food quality.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified and helpful, though the teaching quality can be improved in some areas. The curriculum is relevant and designed in such a way that it helps students become industry-ready with practical exposure. The semester exams are moderately difficult, but with regular study, students can perform well. The course includes both theoretical knowledge and practical aspects, which help in preparing students for placements and higher studies.

A jewel of the future generation.
Placements: Almost every student in our course gets placed, but the placement percentage remains around 85%. The highest package offered in our course is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is around 4.5–5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Tata AIG Insurance, TCS, and Vedanta.
Infrastructure: There is a huge library for students with different kinds of books available. A separate reading room is available with a capacity of 150–200 students. The quality of food is good, but the taste is not always reliable. Classrooms have air conditioning. Facilities provided in the hostel are not very good, with four students sharing one room.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and easily reachable. All of them are well-qualified and have cleared the NET examination. This course is relevant to current times, especially in a scenario where the whole world is focusing on strategy. Students can apply their experience in arbitration effectively.

Satisfied with the exposure university provide us.
Placements: The highest package offered in our course is 8 LPA. Every student is assured an internship, not only in companies but also in different forums like Think Tank or within our university. Companies that come to our university are Tata AIG Insurance, TCS, and Vedanta.
Infrastructure: Every classroom in our university has a smart board and air conditioning. 24-hour Wi-Fi facility is available around the campus. The quality of food is too good, so I won’t comment on the taste. We have a medical center that runs 24 hours. Apart from the mess, there are also different cafes available.
Faculty: Faculty members here are UGC NET qualified, and teachers teach only their domain-specific subjects. Every student is assigned one mentor so that if any student faces a problem they can sort it out with the help of a Mentor whether it is related to academics, or co-curricular. The semester exams are not very hard, anyone can pass them easily. Every student is required to score at least 51% to pass the exam.
Other: The campus life is eventful, every month or so, there is an event where students can showcase their talent.

It is the best college for those who are interested in the field of Cybersecurity and not for others
Placements: Placements are good. The university is 15 years old but it was made a national university 4 years ago and after that, it gained recognition. Companies started to offer placements. There is a chance for placements and companies to increase in the coming years.
Infrastructure: It has hi-tech labs with a hi-tech PC and i9 processor, 4090 GPU, 64 GB RAM, and 2 TB storage. There are 3 to 4 labs. It has a dedicated networking lab, AI lab, and digital forensics lab. It has AC classrooms. There are 3 to 4 grounds for games like cricket, football, and volleyball. It has good hostels and decent food in the mess.
Faculty: The computer syllabus is up-to-date. Chemistry and Physics are not taught here like in other universities. B.Tech in computer science assignments are provided and the name says there are only computer-related syllabus. It has good faculty members with experience in fields like red teaming, VAPT, etc.
