RRU Ahmedabad has elite facilities for students
Placements: Our university is new, and therefore, the placement scenario here is still very low. However, since our university is of national importance, I know that placements here will be superb, and we will be among the initial batches passing out. Cybersecurity is not just needed in the government sector but in the private sector as well, and thus, I am assuming that placements at RRU for cybersecurity will be in the region of 10–15 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have plenty of boy's and girl's hostels here, as this is a residential campus. However, since it's far from the main city, we have enough facilities on campus that I don't feel it could have been otherwise. From sports facilities to top-notch hostels and classrooms, I don't think it could have been any better.
Faculty: Our faculty members have taught us one thing first and foremost, and that is that books or the syllabus alone won't be enough. Therefore, they have welcomed the private sector to assign us projects. So, learning happens practically here and our faculty members also engage us in group discussions every now and then to make classes competitive and interesting.
Other: There are not many events and the mess facilities could have been better. Our Navratri celebrations are unarguably among the best events that RRU hosts every year.

A good and valuable university that gives more opportunities and exposure.
Placements: Around 90 percent of students got placed from my batch. The highest package is 42 LPA while the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package offered is around 8 LPA. The top recruiters include PwC, EY, TCS and Meta, along with other reputed firms. About 85 percent of students also got internships in companies like PwC, TCS and Meta, which give good industry exposure. The top roles offered are related to Cybersecurity, Consulting and IT services making the course highly career-oriented.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is decent with facilities such as Wi-Fi-enabled labs, spacious classrooms and a good library area that supports learning. The hostel facilities are average, and while the quality of mess food is not exceptional, it is manageable. Apart from that, students also get access to sports, games, medical facilities, and a canteen. Overall, the infrastructure is functional but could be improved in terms of hostel and food quality.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified and helpful, though the teaching quality can be improved in some areas. The curriculum is relevant and designed in such a way that it helps students become industry-ready with practical exposure. The semester exams are moderately difficult, but with regular study, students can perform well. The course includes both theoretical knowledge and practical aspects, which help in preparing students for placements and higher studies.

Good Infrastructure, faculty, mess food, well-maintained campus, and hostels are spacious.
Placements: In B.Tech CSE, around 95% got placed. The highest package is 44 LPA from Amazon while the average is 5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Salesforce, Colgate, KPMG, etc. Most students got placed in I4C (Indian Cybercrime Coordination Center) to gain hands on experience in cyber security.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. Lush green campus, full campus Wi-Fi enabled, classrooms are well furnished, and AC equipped. Library is very large and has a good huge reading room. Hostel facilities are very good, mess food quality is good enough. They have a dedicated medical facility and have all the outdoor sports like cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-quantified, most of them are Ph.D. holders or pursuing PhDs, and teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very much relevant, as most of the syllabus is from the GATE syllabus and is industry-ready. Semester exams are of a moderate level, and the passing percentage is 95%.
Other: I chose this course because it is a government college and is an INI (Institute of National Importance). The best thing about this course is that it is dedicated to cybersecurity. Everything is good. Events are good, but on a large level, the campus crowd is moderate, connectivity is good, and they provide scholarships.

Infrastructure: RRU offers smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, advanced cyber labs, library access, hostels (3,000 per month), hygienic multi-cuisine mess, 24X7 medical care, and sports like football, cricket, gym, and indoor games. It ensures academic and holistic growth.

It is the best college for those who are interested in the field of Cybersecurity and not for others
Placements: Placements are good. The university is 15 years old but it was made a national university 4 years ago and after that, it gained recognition. Companies started to offer placements. There is a chance for placements and companies to increase in the coming years.
Infrastructure: It has hi-tech labs with a hi-tech PC and i9 processor, 4090 GPU, 64 GB RAM, and 2 TB storage. There are 3 to 4 labs. It has a dedicated networking lab, AI lab, and digital forensics lab. It has AC classrooms. There are 3 to 4 grounds for games like cricket, football, and volleyball. It has good hostels and decent food in the mess.
Faculty: The computer syllabus is up-to-date. Chemistry and Physics are not taught here like in other universities. B.Tech in computer science assignments are provided and the name says there are only computer-related syllabus. It has good faculty members with experience in fields like red teaming, VAPT, etc.

Few opportunities exist for students eager to drive into cyberspace and hacking.
Placements: The brochure claims a 96% placement rate, but in reality only 15-20 students are placed through on-campus placement drives. The placement is really bad in this college. Very few small-scale companies come for placements.
Infrastructure: The hostels feel like home, which is what we were looking for last year. However, the new hostels are more like literal hostels, which is a typical hostel. The mess food has mixed reviews. On the plus side, we get medical facilities like a private hospital for free.
Faculty: There are 5-6 subjects per semester, each with 1-2 faculty members teaching them. Out of 10 faculty, about 7 are good at imparting knowledge. The course curriculum is such that what is taught in class has to be applied in the real world, and most colleges expect students to do their own preparation. The semester exams are quite difficult. The pass percentage is around 65-70%.

My college years , the 4 years which are unforgettable
Placements: Many placements occur in the cyber domain and AI. 80-90 percent of placements are there. There are many companies which want cyber experts, so it has a great domain to explore. Even government agencies also want cyber experts. Many seniors join the police cyber team.
Infrastructure: All the hostels are new , and the lab and classrooms are in all good condition because it is a central university. Grounds of every sport are available. Mess is made this month only, which has good quality of food. Students are from every state of India , some are international also.
Faculty: Faculty is experienced and has knowledge in this domain. Exams are quite difficult because they deal with cybersecurity. We have practical exams every week. Our school name is SITAIS, which deals with cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. I love my college.
Other: There are many clubs which I like.
