MD in Physiology - Batch of 2021
Offered by M S Ramaiah Medical College
4.2
Review of the MD in Physiology course at M S Ramaiah Medical College.
Placements: Students studying over here are busy with their work nowadays. There are possibilities of getting placed in reputed hospitals, rehabilitation centers, clinics, etc. The package ranges between 7.89-25 LPA. During internships, students got a stipend of Rs. 30,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The college copes with obligatory demands that are required for studies. The simulation lab center and specialised laboratories for all disciplines conveniently are located within the college premises. Individual conference halls with all the facilities are available for all the disciplines.
Faculty: Exams happen only once a year, Mostly, student reports like attendance records, weekly test reports, and training performance are reported to the HOD and they would take necessary remedies to improve the excellence of the students at further levels.

MD in General Medicine - Batch of 2019
Offered by K V G Medical College
3.8
I will definitely recommend this college for the course. It is a place with minimal distractions.
Placements: All 5 candidates from my batch were doing well in clinical practice at their respective places. The average package per month was around 1.5LPA to 2.5LPA with the opportunity to earn more by doing more evening practice. There were good opportunities to do online consultations.
Infrastructure: A good AC library was available in our college. Department infrastructure was just average. Hostel infrastructure was average. There was no restriction on keeping extra things like a refrigerator washing machines etc. They charge you a lot for the electricity bill. The mess food was average but I never got sick because of the mess food.
Faculty: Teachers kept changing every year. We had 1 to 2 regular teaching faculty members who were good at teaching and guiding us. The course was curriculum relevant. The exams were under RGUHS, its a bit difficult and if you study hard you can clear. Students should score 3 CGPA out of 5.
Other: I am a 2019 pass out.

MD in Paediatrics - Batch of 2019
Offered by Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre
4.0
Review of Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre.
Placements: There won't be any limitations for the career path in the college of Vyedhi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. Apart from general hiring in healthcare institutions there will be multiple roles of hiring was occur there. Additionally, the research centres like Maven and Procter & Gamble were hiring our course graduates which was a noticeable one. All those recruitments would offer at least moderate pay of 4.3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The pathways of the campus were so greenery and amazing place for relaxing. The arrangements made in the hostels were so sophisticated and luxurious too. But most of the PG scholars look for accommodation on their own, and also needed facilities available for searching.
Faculty: Faculty members were specialized in paediatrics teaching and mentorship. Mostly, they were updated to recent information about paediatrics. Faculty members had sufficient knowledge to provide clinical training to the students. Well, post-graduate programs mostly deal with training sessions.

    Excellent infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: About 30-40% Students were placed in general medicine course. I can't tell the package as it's against the college policy. 50% students got internship in Tanishka pharmaceuticals. There are many roles offered and they teach according to the students interest.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are large enough and comfortable too. Laboratory is very neat and clean and well maintained. There are almost all the required materials for experiments in the lab. Library is fantastic. There are large variety of books available. There is also free WI-FI with great speed upto 150kbps. The quality of food was excellent and hygienic. Food was tasty as well as healthy. Medical facility I don't know since I never experienced.
Faculty: The teachers are very kind and understanding. Then are ready to explain/redo an experiment or theory infinite times. They never get angry or shout on the students. The course makes a student capable to get internship in a good company in the industry. The exam overall was easy but it largely depends on individuals learning and understanding.

I am satisfied because of its faculty members, hostel facility, and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements were average as students got placed only after MD and all. The internship was compulsory, and students need to complete 1 year of internships, and students also need to pay for it. Not giving any payments to the students who were working. Placements were at the medical college itself.
Infrastructure: Laboratories, library, and Wi-Fi were provided, and students need to pay for it. The facilities and infrastructure were good but need to pay for everything. The hostel was good and the food served was also good and healthier. Medical facilities were available for students. Gym and sports were also available.
Faculty: Teaching was very good and faculty members were providing notes at the class time which were helpful for the exam preparations. But the pass percentage was 65%. They need to refer and study by using library facilities. Questions of semester exams were very standard ones, and need well prepared to pass the exams.
Other: This course help students to study medicines, and the uses of medicines. The scholarship was not given to students.

Make your career here for a bright future.
Placements: I was a bright student but I hardly managed to get good marks at college level. My CGP was 7.50 out of 10. They have many internships but I wasn't that much interested in those during my studies so I didn’t show up. They give lots of internship which is very helpful for the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very big. They have separate department rooms for each and every department. Wi-Fi is always available when needed. Classrooms are very big. Library has lots of book but mostly people use online library. Food in the hostel is average. There are lots of games to play in hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. They let the students asked their opinion and correct them wherever necessary. They were like family to me. Yes, they made my career so good. I still miss my teachers. I still call and talk to them and they still help me.

About MD in specialisation of anesthesiology.
Placements: Medanta and Max Hospital were some of the expected health institutions came for hiring with moderate salary packages. Basically, 72 to 80% of postgraduate students got a job in various organisations. Also, few groups of students got partnered with some of the newly started ventures.
Infrastructure: Library usually looks like a museum where we can find more than 30,000 books, journals, and periodicals research projects. Libraries were also constructed with a lot of seating which was really supportive for the readers. Complete medical facilities were available on the campus of Vyedhi.
Faculty: Being post-graduate student from anesthesiology, I faced a lot of complications in completing the course. Along with the training, it was so stressful for me to study, but teachers gave me some meaningful solutions to balance both. Clearing exams with even average scores was complicated too.
