Worth it for those who get free admission. If you want a paid seat, go to another college.
Placements: Around 60–70% of students get placed. The top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. Packages range from 3 to 7 LPA. Many students also get internships in reputed firms. Roles like Developer and Analyst are commonly offered. Apart from this, each student has to focus on upskilling themselves.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent with projectors and Wi-Fi facility. Labs are well-equipped. Hostels are spacious, but maintenance can improve. The mess food is average, and the canteen is okay. The medical and sports facilities are available but need better management. Totally, it is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum is balanced but could be more industry-focused. Exams are moderately difficult, most students pass with regular study. Overall, the academic environment is decent and improving. We have to put in extra effort.
Other: I chose CE for its future scope. IIIT Basar offers good exposure, scholarships, and a peaceful campus. Fests like Antahpragnya are fun. The campus life is decent but could use better connectivity and more industry interaction for students.
