Placements: Around 70% of students get placed through on-campus recruitments. The highest package offered is around 14 LPA, with the lowest at 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Accenture, IBM, UST Global, and Gridlex. Many students also secure internships. Top roles offered include software development, data analysis, and other engineering positions.

Infrastructure: We have hostel facilities, food quality, and medical services. Sports and games vary greatly depending on the specific institution. We have NSS clubs, NCC parades, SPIC MACAY events, gyms, gaming areas, and well-maintained living spaces with high-speed internet.

Faculty: Overall, students generally find teachers to be helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality. The curriculum is often considered relevant and includes practical training. Semester exams are generally seen as difficult. The pass percentage varies but is often high.

Other: Based on CGPA, we chose this course. We learn a lot of information about vehicles. There are many workshops on our campus. We have events, fests, a campus crowd, scholarships, and more.

Dissatisfied with the food.

Placements: In 2025 passed out batch got 60% placements. In that mechanical got 33% placements. The highest package in my college this year is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj, Tata, Wipro, etc. Many students got stipend internships in sure and some others opted for paid internships.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the department is good. In mechanical engineering department, we have a workshop, lab, and good instruments. Digital libraries are also provided so that we can use laptops and Wi-Fi. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the girls hostel. Now a days, food quality is good. There is a student activity center for playing games like carrom, badminton, kabaddi, and tennis. But have to bring our own instruments for playing.

Faculty: In our department, faculty members are good. Teaching is also good. But some other faculty members do not teach as students need. The course curriculum is too fast. Some students cannot adapt to this and tend to fail. The semester exams' difficulty level depends on the faculty members who prepare the paper. If he/she is a good faculty member in teaching, the difficulty level will increase. In 2024, the pass percentage is around 60%.

Other: The best thing I like about this college is that they conduct good events, which is best for students to take a little break from academics. The only thing I wish to be improved here is food quality. Recently, there has been a tech fest on our campus. Many food stalls like pani puri stalls, fast food stalls, etc., are arranged which is the highlight of the event.

Excellent rural‑focused IIIT with strong infrastructure, free education, and vibrant campus life.

Placements: RGUKT IIIT Basar placements are gradually improving. Core and IT companies like TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini visit the campus. The average package is around 3–4 LPA. Internships and skill-based hiring also support student careers. Overall, everything is well-managed.

Infrastructure: RGUKT IIIT Basar campus spans 272 acres with modern labs, smart classrooms, a library, gym, medical center, ATM, bank, store, and auditorium. The hostel has six floors and is clean and well-maintained. It is nice, and Wi-Fi facility is available, though it sometimes doesn’t work.

Faculty: RGUKT IIIT Basar’s faculty members are well-qualified, highly experienced, and student-centric. Many hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees from IITs. Heads of departments and senior professors guide academics. Students rate the teaching 4 out of 5, highlighting a dedicated and knowledgeable core faculty. Faculty members are good.

Other: I like mechanical engineering. Faculty and infrastructure are good. Everything is being conducted thoroughly.
