Excellent rural‑focused IIIT with strong infrastructure, free education, and vibrant campus life.
Placements: RGUKT IIIT Basar placements are gradually improving. Core and IT companies like TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini visit the campus. The average package is around 3–4 LPA. Internships and skill-based hiring also support student careers. Overall, everything is well-managed.
Infrastructure: RGUKT IIIT Basar campus spans 272 acres with modern labs, smart classrooms, a library, gym, medical center, ATM, bank, store, and auditorium. The hostel has six floors and is clean and well-maintained. It is nice, and Wi-Fi facility is available, though it sometimes doesn’t work.
Faculty: RGUKT IIIT Basar’s faculty members are well-qualified, highly experienced, and student-centric. Many hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees from IITs. Heads of departments and senior professors guide academics. Students rate the teaching 4 out of 5, highlighting a dedicated and knowledgeable core faculty. Faculty members are good.
Other: I like mechanical engineering. Faculty and infrastructure are good. Everything is being conducted thoroughly.
